Seg#1: State-run DbM of The Regime tries to connect the non-dots
Even with Teleprompter, he is putting a period after every word. Why. Am. I. Talking. This. Way? Jack Tapper stood up and asked ObamaCare questions. "What do you have to say about Democrats running ads against [ObamaCare]?" And Obama said, "We. Never. Said. It. Would. Be. Free."
It is not true that we have added 30million more to ObamaCare, since that does not kick in yet. Costs are going up anyway. Obama said premiums would go down. The press conference is incoherent. Somebody is feeding Obama answers and maybe TOTUS is slow for technical reasons.
Jake Tapper also asked him about the fringe pastor in Florida. TOTUS replies, "Burning. the. scripture. of. another. religion. is. against our religion." Our religion? I didn't know we had a State-Religion. And Pastor Jones was in my high school, but I didn't remember Terry Jones. He was a left-hand pitcher—we were in the Babe Ruth League, one step beyond Little League. He made the HS team and I didn't. That was a life-lesson since my Dad knew the coach.
I never saw Terry Jones at school. I sent Mark Levin a note, "This guy from Florida was in my graduating class but I don't remember him except from baseball." Will WW III start in Cape Girardeau MO .?. DbM hopes for a greater connection. My house is a tourist attraction; but is the house of Terry Jones? It may become one. [He tries to barter the Mosque away from Sacred Ground.]
I skipped most of the last two months of my senior year to be a radio DJ.
School was prison for me; in college a drill sergeant was my dance class teacher. I said, "This is not for me", and when my Mom found out, my parents took my car (which I bought myself) away from me. I lasted one year.

Seg#2: Rush. Summarizes. The. Obama. Opening. Statement.
He has 255 Democrats in the House and controls the Senate also; Republicans can't stop Obama on anything. The more Obama talks, the less he becomes. If media had spent just half the time as they have in this preacher in Florida, Obama might not be POTUS today.
They are protecting Obama, and so it is understandable.
I'll summarize Obama's opening:
1. We believe in Government.
2. We believe in Regulations.
3. We don't believe in free markets.
4. We have good intentions.
5. Those that oppose our central-planning, don't [have good intentions.]
6. Progress is slow. Throw in Bush and bash.
Then he gives an over-the-top farewell bye to Christina Romer who is leaving and going back to Berkeley.
Austan Goolsbee is said to be the funniest in the Adm now. No, he makes watching baking bread rise look exciting. Obama wants to turn the remembrance of 9/11 into a day of service.
Who is Terry Jones's spiritual mentor? We know who the spiritual mentor is.
Obama asks why he can't get a small business bill done. Obama has become impotent. Now he can't get votes in an election year. Democrats running for office are reflecting what the nation has been thinking.

Seg#3: No one corrected Obama on lying for his own purposes
Most of the press questions asked, "Why have you failed", not using that word. "Why hasn't anything worked", and why haven't you changed Washington?
I would have asked, "What do you think of Fidel Castro saying your model isn't working in Cuba?" Were people exploited and didn't understand their mortgages? Now they will not understand ObamaCare.

Speaking of Castro, Obama's press conferences are becoming more tedious than those of Fidel Castro.
Caller: I looked it up and Afghanistan is the 19th poorest nation in the world.
The press doesn't know either. They only know what the WH feeds them. They make it up for their purposes. The other poorest countries are in Africa.

Seg#4: Obama looks small, not presidential, but keeps his ego
Let me be serious for a moment on the press conference: we are looking at someone totally out of his league. He looks small and frail. A teleprompter at a press conference; his cheat-sheet was all on economics. He took ten questions and spoke for 75 minutes. It. Is. Scary.
Jake Tapper asked a simple question. ((Clip of Obama stuttering)) He implied there would be free ObamaCare and costs would go down. The only way to save America was to reduce the deficit by passing it. 30million people? Obama told us that covering 30million people would bring costs down because they would not go to the emergency room.
He is looking small with a giant ego and disdain for American achievers.
He is asked about Islam ((Clip-Obama-speaking-normally-now: One of the things I admired about George W Bush was that after 9/11 we all stood together.)) Her question was: "Why is there now more suspicion of the Middle East?" He was going to make us respected around the world.
I have not seen moderate Muslims rising up to condemn Jihad.
Nobody would have known about Terry Jones had not DbM had nothing to talk about one day. Now, others in Wyoming say if Terry Jones doesn't burn Korans, they will burn one. And AP says they won't cover any of that. "But if Bibles or USA flags are burned, we will be the first there with a camera."

Seg#6: We don't have the money to pay for The Regime goodies
(Theme Music) What's the big deal? If it would have been Reagan or Bush, DbM would have doctors and psychiatrists analyzing what could be wrong.
Go back to the healthcare answer Obama gave, "We never said it would be free." May 2009, a group of medical people will assist ringing savings.
The lead picture on Drudge Report made me laugh, "Thousands of Afghans protest Koran burning" with flames on the American flag. All this over a church with 40 attending. TV footage showed only a few hundred. It is rent-a-mob. They don't know about Gainesville Florida.
Here we are in Obamaville-Hooverville. ((Reading grants: MD city center for human services $85,000; farm-workers legal in NY $85,000; Make-the-road NY $85,000. Etc. SF rural $225,000; AFL-CIO; etc. SEIU.)) This administration is parceling out your tax dollars for votes. They are not even earmarks. The Adm is passing out goodies. What does this have to do with improving the Economy or providing you jobs? There are three pages listing the OSHA grants. What about the other agencies?

More so with the owners than the players back then. When I was your age, we were on the field playing football.

Seg#9: Rush Limbaugh suggests voting out The Ruling Class
Caller: Fair Tax would bring companies and jobs back.
I said it would never happen with those currently in Congress. They won't give up their power. A clean sweep of Congress could bring opportunities. Look at DE Christina O'Donnell and those on our side, some supporting and some wanting a professional RINO. You can't have it both ways. You can't complain about The Ruling Class and then when a new person stands up, you creame them.
Caller: Neil Boortz and John Lender support flat tax.
Young people are voting anti-Democrat and there is a golden opportunity to up-turn the turnip cart. Not all, but some of the pundits are against new comers. Tea Party people are the essence of the American people. We are attracting millions who were not involved before. They abhor what Democrats and Obama are doing.
We always wanted new people involved to vote and to run. Now, some on our side say, "We don't want you unless you go to the established GOP." They don't want pro-Lifers, they don't want to upset The Ruling Class.
The way it correlates to Flat Tax: it will require a lot of new people for Fair Tax or Flat Tax. Look at all the power they have making the rules with taxation.

DbM is interested because this guy fits their template of religious hicks.

None of my friends blew up the Pentagon. DbM is not interested in the nut trying to blow up the Discovery Channel, influenced by Algore. Who was Obama's pastor for 20 years. Cut me some slack, media: Florida pastor was in HS with me 40 years ago. Terry Jones has not won the Farrakhan life-achievement-award like Obama's preacher has.
One more brief departure: happy birthday to 94-yr-old listener. She told her friend in Chicago, age 89, "Rush is a nice guy" and converted her Liberal friend.
Will DbM declare a fatwa on my head. They tried everything else.
Caller: Did you like Favre vs Saints? I blame the coaching staff.

Seg#13: New ideas from Founding Fathers to save USA Economy
Caller-Southern-gal-truck-driver: We need guts. Union pensions too high.
You are right about public union pension funds.
Caller: Who are they to be preferred over me—I work hard.
Gov't workers earn twice as much. He protects the rich. Obama doesn't see the difference in public and private sector. If he does, the result is the same as he destroys the private sector that pays the public sector wages.
Caller-SC: Where was tolerance in 9/11 and reporter Pearl? The Mosque next to Ground Zero is like their victory lap. I don't trust Obama.
You are in a chorus of millions. Imam says that had he known, he would not have put it there. But now, he can't change because there would be Muslim uprisings and riots. This is a religion of peace? Why do he cave all the time?
"American's chickens have come home to roost" and what did we do? What did those 3,000 WTC people do? Whatever the subject matter when people call, there is a bubbling anger against Ruling Class.
At the press conference, Obama finally allowed the word 'stimulus' to be used. And Heritage Foundation Arnold Ott analyzes the billions in the first Stimulus with no jobs. We are left with nothing but massive deficit. Now we have Son of Stimulus. Obama says Republicans have no new ideas, when they have. Heritage Foundation has 123 new ideas on Economy. We will exceed 700,000 members. Their ideas go back to 1776 Founding Fathers.

Nine years ago tomorrow, 19 Islamic terrorists, fueled with evil hatred, hijacked airplanes and murdered thousands while trying to destroy America's economy.
Today, Al-Qaeda's still fighting. Within hours of Obama's Oval Orifice speech last Tuesday night, celebrating the withdrawal of all American combat forces in Iraq, Al-Qaeda launched a bloody attack which was repelled by our "non-combat" forces. Yes, Al-Qaeda's still in Iraq, while also ramping up in Yemen. They're targeting American interests in Europe and the Mideast. They're splinter organizations are in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world.
Nine years later, we can look back and see what else was hijacked. Out-of-power Democrats, determined to bring down Bush's strong poll numbers, launched a relentless antiwar agenda that destroyed the unity and sense of purpose we had following the 9/11 attacks.
Now the war is off the front page. We rarely see images of the destruction that took place on that horrific morning. A great deal of the raw video footage from the 9/11 attacks has never been seen because it's too gruesome. This year, our president will not even attend this year's ceremonies at Ground Zero.
Nine years later, many of us are engaged in another battle: saving our way of life from the onslaught of elected Democrats who stand alongside those wishing to erect a mosque in the shadows where the Twin Towers once stood.

Roger Kimball takes note of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's latest video hit:
I almost felt sorry (almost) for Marie Corfield, an elementary school teacher who stood up at a question-and-answer session with the governor and demanded to know how his reforms would help teachers since his budget cuts had resulted in so many lay-offs among the selfless pedagogues that populate New Jersey's public schools. "We have some of the best schools in the country," quoth la Corfield, "and you have done nothing but lambaste us."
Pardon us while we dab away the tears.
When the Governor began to respond, Ms. Corfield rolled her eyes and acted like one of her pupils taunting a classmate. That was when Gov. Christie delivered one of his classic put-downs. "If you want to put on a show then just sit down. But if you want to have a respectful discussion then let me answer your question."
Yikes. That alone was worth the price of admission but what followed is script that anyone who cares about the tsunami of public debt that is poised to wash over America should hearken to carefully. Christie didn't "lambaste" teachers, he said, he lambasted the teacher's union, especially its leaders. ~~~

Every blogger worth his salt knows "Islamic Rage Boy." He represents the professional Muslim grievance-monger, always at the ready to protest whatever manufactured insult could be exploited to curse the West. Christopher Hitchens wrote on the futility of appeasing the worldwide Rage Boy mob — a theme I've struck here for years, which bears repeating as we prepare to mark the 9th anniversary of 9/11, and which I reiterate in my syndicated column today. We didn't start the fire.
