From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "EL DREAM"
Last Thursday, the Sacramento Bee published a story that would have garnered a lot more attention – if the debt crisis hadn't sucked up all the media oxygen.
The article, titled "Improving Mexican Economy Draws Undocumented Immigrants," reports that illegals are leaving California. Those who once searched for the American Dream are now finding it … south of the border – back home in Mexico.
Mexican Consul General Carlos González Gutiérrez, of Sacramento, says Mexico has now "become a middle-class country," where it is easier to find jobs, buy homes on credit, and access higher education. And it's not run by Democrats! So, while our unemployment rate is hovering close to 10 percent – in Mexico unemployment is only 4.9 percent.
You heard right. The democracy south of the border is on the upswing. In Mexico there are jobs, loans, un-foreclosed-on homes, and good schools where kids can learn proper Spanish. In America, we're stuck with a society in decline, limited opportunities – no jobs, no loans, foreclosed homes. And believe it or not, Spanish isn't really the first language. Mexico has hope. Mexico has change! America – has Obamaville!
There is only one thing to do. Chronically unemployed Americans – you have to sneak into Mexico. Find work. Find homes. Find new cars. Do the jobs Mexicans don't want to do! Then, send some of the money home to America – until you can sneak your families across the border.
Viva el American Dream. En Mexico! Mi Amigos!

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"How dare Obama talk about doing more on infrastructure when the first stimulus was sold on that basis?"
"Where do you find a Democrat who doesn't want to raise taxes?"
"We've been lied to at every turn during this debt ceiling crisis. That's really how I feel."
"Our government certainly can't afford anything it's doing. We do not have the money."
"People have their possessions, the outward trappings. But very few actually have the money those things cost."
"The things that are sickening to all of us about the way the ruling class and politicians use government for their own benefit is about to go on steroids. If you're ticked off now, you don't know what ticked off is."
"We had a balanced budget in the nineties. We had a balanced budget without a Balanced Budget Amendment."
"If the government would just get out of the college business, the costs would come down. College costs are able to rise much faster than inflation because of government involvement."
"The only place where money and things are real is among people who don't owe anything, who aren't in debt -- and those are Obama's targets."
"All the numbers in this deal are just government math. Government math's even crazier than Farrakhan's Million Man Math Made Easy."
"Obama got his stash of $2.4 trillion. It's officially election time: Obama saved the day! It'll make you sick."
"When you look at how big a percentage of our gross domestic product government is and then you realize government doesn't produce anything -- that all government does is confiscate wealth and redistribute it -- and you realize our gross domestic product is nowhere near what we're led to believe that it is."
"Obama is spending money that we don't have in the most reckless, irresponsible way it has ever been spent by any chief executive in this country -- we're on a racecourse to collapse. We're not cruising around town. We're on an actual racecourse."
"Whenever Obama or one of his minions says balance, they mean tax increases. Anybody who doesn't want a tax increase must be unbalanced."
"Whatever happened to the 'no drama Obama' we were sold during the 2008 campaign? There is gonna be the next Armageddon. There will be a next crisis, and it will happen within seven days."
"This amount of debt has to be serviced. The idea of paying it off is impossible, but it has to be serviced. That's gonna require tax rates that nobody will be willing to work in order to pay."
"There's extra flower in Obama's hair today. It's grayer."
"These next months leading into the presidential campaign, the president is going to do what all presidents do. He's going to use every bit of presidential power at his disposal to orient the government toward buying votes, doing things for people, without regard to the budget, without regard to any fiscal sense or sanity whatsoever, it doesn't matter."
"A moral victory is when somebody who is destined to lose gets closer to victory than they thought they ever would. But you still lost. A moral victory is a loss."
"It's officially election time. Obama saved the country. Obama saved the day. It's gonna make you sick if you watch it. It's gonna make you frustrated as you have ever been. It's gonna be like 2008 all over again. The Messiah syndrome."
"But the hard, cold reality that hit me -- and this is one of these things that should have hit me years ago (I was slow on the uptake). When you add in consumer credit card debt and our government's national debt, and all the other debt that's there, you realize that the US standard of living, according to real dollars -- the real money supply -- isn't that high."
"I keep hearing about this 'compromise' What compromise? The Democrats haven't even presented a budget. What did they give up? What did the Democrats give away in compromise? What did they give up? Nothing!"
"The Republicans compromised with themselves. The Republicans constantly took away their own ideas from themselves, because every plan they presented a Democrat with no plan would say, 'No we don't like that! No, we don't like that! You'd better come back with something better.'"
"I hate to be disrespectful here, but how can anybody say we got budget cuts when the whole point of this was to raise the debt ceiling $2.4 trillion?"
