Opening: Was that a 'hurricane'? Careful comments.

Segment#1: Our Main-Left-Media is a national embarrassment
There is a lot of flooding in New England. This was more of a water and power outage, than a wind storm. Storms have been politicized. I was in Hawaii and five days before, the Drive-by Media had it hitting Miami Beach head on where I live. When I saw their prediction, I knew my home was safe. I knew they would move their prediction to the east. They got Mayor Nagen to comment as an expert.
While they were reporting 70mph to 80mph winds, a guy went to the weather underground and talked to those cities and the highest wind velocity was 35mph. I went to one myself and it was 8mph. The Grim Reaper, Geraldo, was telling people to get out of town.
It was a rain storm with flooding, with some deaths. Literally, the media desired chaos. In news and in sports they exaggerate to create interest. Anderson Cooper was in a light rain, and the CNN weather-babe says, "You are in the worst of it." He says, "Really? It isn't that bad."
And finally, Obama leaves the golf course, "to take charge". $10million on one vacation, Michelle-My-Belle spending like there is no tomorrow. It is not their money. Whatever Irene costs will pale to Obama spending. It is not entitlements that has busted the piggy-bank, Byron York points out: it is what has been added.
Medicare, MedicAid, and Social Security were known. Obama is the problem!
Millions more are out of work, economy continues down. Back-to-school happens every year and it does not indicate consumer confidence. Obama is at 38% and 63% disapprove of Obamanomics.
"Is Ronald Reagan Dumb" now becomes "Is Rick Perry Dumb".
((Reading: Obama takes charge as Irene unfolds.)) The fix is in, the campaign is underway, and Algore says you are racist if you oppose Global Warming $$.
We now have Back Door Amnesty as Obama Adm refuses to deport.
William Shatner is a funny guy—I like him a lot. He asked me, "How do you know? How can you be so confident." Cookie will get the archive sound-byte.
>>> We are loaded with info today—will there be time to get to it all?
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#2: Our Main-Left-Media is an embarrassment around the world
Our third female sheepdog is a joy. Our cat Pun-kin is ecstatic.
Do you know what 'sustained wind speed' was in Central Park, NYC? 17mph.
You see Obama blaming Japan tsunami/earthquakes for our bad economy, you can bank on him hoping Irene would be a smoke screen for his bad economy. The real 'category five' here is Obama. Predictions were lower than expected.
The only thing they got right was the track.
>>>>> It's a national embarrassment, folks. It really is.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3: Who is dumb and who is smart? Rick Perry or Algore?
Sunday, ((CNN-Clip: It is an annoying rain, but not a hard rain; it is not blowing sideways but straight down.)) Weather-babe tells Shep Cooper he is standing in the worst of it.
GDP is the broadest measure of our overall economic health, now at 1%. ChiComs are at 9%, and Cuba is doing better in GDP growth than we are. In July it was said to be 1.3% but they got it wrong. They tell the truth when they say the slowdown is here to stay. Obama Regime cannot run on this record, they will run on dirt. Republicans did not obstruct because they had not to votes to stop anything.
If Democrats could have united, they could have gotten anything they wanted. I am concerned what will happen nine months from now in the summer. They already start to play the race card. The small flash mobs are already happening.
Gallup has Obama at 38% and we know AP polling adds 10% because they like the guy. What will The Regime do in the summer? You have to worry.
UK writes that if we don't heed Algore and reduce CO2 then aliens might wipe us out to save the planet. A NASA scientists agrees.
>>> So why does Politico write, "Is Rick Perry dumb?"
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#4: General Colin Powell is not happy with the Dick Cheney book
In the 1950s and 1960s we had science fiction movies: Aliens would always come to prevent humans blowing up with nuclear bombs. They were always smarter than us. Now the space aliens will stop us from doing global warming. It gets passed off as real news.
The titular head of the Republican Party, we were previously told, says he is not sure he will support Obama again. In the end, he will vote for Obama. Media told us he was the ideal Republican leader.
We had a campaign to "Ban the Ugly". It would speed up the economy for them to stay off the streets in the daytime, they know who they are. "Uglo-America" was a term I created. The NYTimes now writes, "Should ugly people get affirmative action?"
((Reading: Woman looks impact marriage, and men looks impact employment.)) I kid you not. ((Reading on: Ugly people could seek affirmative action.)) I broached this subject in 1984. I had the courage of defining the ugly.
>>> I suggested Uglo-Americans could volunteer [to hide].
Dick Cheney will join EIB to talk about his book, tomorrow.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#5: In the next hour we will untangle the Rick Perry criticisms.
KFI News: USA beats Japan in Little League Baseball. (So.Calif.)
_____________________________________________________________
Segment#6: Insight of Byron York could win the Oval Office
(Theme Music) I was not kidding about The New York Times David Hammermish looking ugly and writing about being ugly. The first one I thought of was Michelle Obama who was not proud of America until her husband was nominated.
The NYTimes wouldn't be concerned if they didn't think there were more ugly Democrat Liberals than ugly Republican Conservatives. They need affirmative action. What other evidence do you see? Liberal cable networks are an indication. Compare your average Democrat strategist to the Republican strategist. Anchors too. I'm simply reporting.
When I tackled this problem back in 1984, I was compassionate and suggested a voluntary program. Do the beautiful people get to decide who is ugly? Do the beautiful people know who they are? Do they look in the mirror and say, "I am hot!" Dawn is nodding her head, no. There are self-esteem issues.
This is not going to go away—it is official now in The NYTimes. A brand new category of people in need. I don't know how this issue will raise its ugly head.
Obama has taken the public opinion of government to the ash-heap. Big Oil is now more popular. $1.3trillion deficit added, the largest shortfall in the past 65 years.
Byron York writes about our problems being bigger than SocSec, Medicare, entitlements. In 2007, the deficit was $160billion, and it is now $1.400Trillion. How did we get here? Was there a steep rise in entitlement spending? NO. It is an explosion in spending due to downturn and Democrats in office. It is in the Oval Office, Dingy Reid, and Nancy Pelosi. ((Rush read on.))
The point of Byron York is that there is too much focus on entitlements when it is the out-of-control spending. It is the Democrat Party and Barack Obama. This is fascinating and could be helpful to Republican candidates. Pollsterette Salinda Lake says there is a 10% chance Obama may not be the Democrat candidate.
Beginning talk about entitlement reform from Obama camp has lead to criticism and dissention. Noting this take the third-rail talk off the table. It would be a brilliant move of one of our candidates explained it.
>>> Destructive Obamanomics needs to be explained and pounded
>>>>> until the Americans who vote understand.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7: Barack Obama is strategizing his jobs/economic plan
Byron York notes our problems are from Porkulus, unemployment and extending benefits, and Obama wants to do it again. He wants Republicans to oppose Stimulus Two so he can blame them. Don't doubt me.
Caller: Repeat something over and over, and they believed Irene was bad.
The disparity between truth and what happened became evident. There weren't any high winds.
>>> >>> Will people now question general news hyping?
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#8: Attacking Obamanomics does not mean you don't have ideas
So we are supposed to believe weather people about global warming when they are willing to lie to us about what we could all see wasn't true. I found myself laughing at Fox. They had a reporter standing on the beach and the wind wasn't blowing, his hair not mussed. It was an inland flooding, VT is under water. It was a [big] rainstorm.
Ever since the successful politicizing of Katrina, Liberals politicize everything. Once you understand that Liberals lie, the rest is easy to predict. It isn't difficult at all. I know Liberals and I am being serious. For example, this NYTimes piece on Rick Perry, "Better tone it down."
Rick Perry pulled away from the pack with straight talk. It was refreshing. Others wanted him to stop doing what was successful. I like Jeb Bush and the Bush family has been very nice to me. I disagree with what Jeb Bush told Politico, 'turning off middle-of-the-road independents.'
No, they have already left Obama. They are not going back. Rick Perry was not combative, he was just being honest. Democrats are the mean and combative. They are extreme and where is it written Independents will flock to that? Conservatism is smaller government and faith in the individual. Conservatism is love for all people and maximizing their gifts.
Conservatism is not obstructionism, except against Obama. Yes, you must! [Rush is responding to the Politico interview of Jeb Bush.] They bashed Bush for years, just like they did with Reagan. It was said, 'just let Reagan be Reagan.' There is no reason for Sarah Palin or Rick Perry just shut up.
Jeb Bush says if you are a serious candidate you can't just be against Obama but need positive ideas. You have to do both. Obama is destroying families and this country.
>>> That is also the view among Independents.
_____________________________________________________________
Segment#9: NASA is not to blame for the alien viewpoint
Caller-CO: I'm working on PhD and UK Guardian got it wrong about NASA. It was done at Penn State on their own time, not funded. The study was ridiculous.
>>> NASA pays scientists that think like this.
Calling them 'extra-terrestrials' is more PC than 'space aliens'.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#10: Liberals are blowing the dust of their olde playbook.
Politico Jonathan Martin asks, "Is Rick Perry Dumb?"
This is just like they did with Ronald Reagan.
>>> It is just the tired Liberal attack on Conservative candidates.
ED: Politico was started by Liberals leaving the liberal W-Post.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#11: Rush Limbaugh sees a former conservative friend go racist
(Music) Two weeks ago, Paul Krugman was all for a space alien invasion.
Who is asking if Rick Perry is just dumb or mis-underestimated? ((Reading: Governor Good-Hair, the rap follows him around.)) Is Obama brilliant? How is that just accepted because he speaks well? Does Obama understand economics.
Today, Obama nominates another person from a university with no business experience to join his economic advisory team. Obama needs two teleprompters when he talks to elementary kids, how dumb is that?
You know what will drive Independents away or locked solid? If the focus remains on the future, unemployment, the deficit and Debt, then Independents will remain rock-solid against Obama and Obamanomics. That means Democrats. Obama has lost ground in all segments ((reading)). Just three in ten White Independent voters now support Obama.
White voter guilt propelled Obama to the Oval Office. Thomas Sowell and Shelby Steele said that before I did. They will try to rev it up again. I don't know how The Regime will do that. "Messiah is obstructed by Republicans"?
Here is an article and video about Tea Party and race. If it is the Michelle Bernard that I knew, she used to run a conservative group, commentator on pmsNBC. I thought we were on the same Conservative side. Steinhorn has a book.
((Clip-Michelle_Bernard: Rush Limbaugh said he didn't want the president to succeed. We all need to support the president no matter who it is.)) She knew exactly what I meant. Don't doubt me on this: it is the beginning of playing the race card. They will say Republicans oppose Obama Stimulus Two because they are racist. I've had lunch with this woman, most conservative. Chaos. "I say to Rush Limbaugh, 'Good Job', for making Obama compete for the Black vote.
>>> Something has happened to make her change her tune.
Rush also mentioned Heather Higgins. www.iwf.org/staff/show/324.html

Seg#12: FEMA is controlled by Democrats to keep their power
Obama signed an executive order on hiring federal workers based on race. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/aug/19/obama-whites-need-not-apply/
Caller: Some inner states do not get the aid?
> FEMA takes aid money away from Joplin MO for selected Irene victims.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13: Bob Schieffer thinks Colin Powell comments are important
Remember Sheila Jackson Lee, bent out of shape that hurricanes were not named after people of color? Now we have Jose passing through, might hit AZ (joke).
Do you want Obama destroying the Economy, Michelle? Do you want more of the same, decline of the country? Do you want a president who punishes achievers and those that provide jobs?
msNBC host Ashby asks about the White response to this president of color, ((Clip: On inauguration day, Rush Limbaugh said he hoped he would fail, as others were thinking.)) this is how it is shaping up. Mr Kennedy, do you want unemployment among Black youth to be at 51%? Do you want more economic destruction? You approve of this?
You can try this but you are not dealing with somebody that is afraid of you. It is not racially motivated. I don't have to ask permission to be unleashed like Maxine Waters did.
Bob Schieffer asked Colin Powell about the Cheney book. ((Clip-Powell: The comment from Cheney was what I would expect in gossip magazines.)) We will talk to Dick Cheney on the phone tomorrow. Armitage leaked the name of Valery Plame and an aid to Dick Cheney had to take the fall instead.
www.mediabistro.com/fishbowldc/novak-to-armitage-his-source-reveal-thyself_b3250 ((Clip-Powell: When Armitage realized he was the basis of the Bob Novak story, he called me immediately.)) Powell and Armitage let Scooter Libby twist in the wind. If they all knew, why didn't they tell special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald. Seems to be some 'bad blood' here.
((Clip-Powell: Just like in the 2008 campaign, I haven't decided whom I will vote for. I will examine the policies, issues, and candidates and vote and support for the best qualified.)) [Rush laughs] How did that lead to supporting Obama? We all know why Colin Powell voted for Barack Obama and I said it was race-based at the time.
>> >> >> When I said that at the time "all Hell" broke lose.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#14: Liberal feminists are especially ugly as you can clearly see
Caller-MD: If we end up with Uglo-American affirmative action, it will be every Black legislator and candidate prior to Obama in the view of Joe Biden.
Ah-ha. ... And then there is the Undeniable Truth #24 about Feminism.
>>> Feminist Movement exists to allow unattractive women access.
This segment also had some infomercials: LifeLock and Esteem hearing.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#15: The Obama executive order preceded the NYT article
Obama did not mention Ugliness in his executive order to diversify.
>>> That may change since a lot of ugly people vote.
Closing: See you tomorrow after a 21-hour break to prepare.

AUGUST 29, 2011 — STEVEN HAYWARD
First Al Gore compared climate change skeptics to the 1930s appeasers of Nazism way back in his first foray into this thicket, his 1991 book, Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit. (This book really does deserve to be read, even 20 years later, for its {perhaps} unknowing full-on homage to Heideggerian existentialism, betraying Gore's essentially authoritarian if not in fact totalitarian instincts. The subtitle alone– "Ecology and the Human Spirit" gives the game away.) ...

That's the headline in Politico today. Given that Perry is a conservative, the alternative is that he is evil. For now, at least, the Left is testing the waters on "dumb." Actually, if you read the article, it is obvious that Perry is a very focused, effective guy. On balance, it is a positive piece. Still, headlines about GOP candidates tend to be along the lines of "Is Rick Perry

PG: We enjoyed watching a made-for-TV-movie on the Hallmark Channel last evening. William & Catherine – A Royal Romance was very well done, including the casting, music, theme, plot-line, romance, and history. It covered from when Prince William and Kate met at college as he was moving in, up until he proposed six years later in Kenya Africa, camping out. Of course, it reminded us, many times during the movie, of when we were in London watching the royal wedding. The greatest thing about the TV movie was the million-dollar-smile of Kate Middleton. Prince William and Prince Harry was also caste brilliantly and did great. It was good that Camille and Charles were not a very good likeness; instead, Charles was played by the only well-known actor in the troupe. That was better and Princess Di played a role via tape watched several times by Prince William as he decided about marriage over the six-year romance. I suppose there could be another TV movie on the Royal Wedding. See the British review at: http://LatestOnKateAndWilliam.com
