Your Rush Limbaugh Echo for Friday, 12/2/11
Student NOTES from Institute juniors, not 'official'
Opening: Greetings, my friends, thrill-seekers, ...
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1: Lies, Damn lies, and then there are Statistics, (Mark Twain)
... conversationalists; welcome to Open-Line-Friday, a great career risk for the host. Did you know that the only difference between regular TV and reality TV is that on reality TV, the workers are non-union. They take, retake, and re-retake until they get the reality they want; it is all scripted.
Snerdley says we get more 'seminar' callers on Friday. Every week, Gallop puts out their own unemployment numbers and predicted below 9% was coming. They do not rely on Bureau of Labor statistics. This led me to say any 8-point-anything will be trumpeted as 8% by Drive-by Media. They got the headline 8.6% unemployment. Bloomberg explains it is a corrupt number because 315,000 quit looking for work.
The labor-force participation rate is down. What was the number of jobs created? 126,000 jobs. That alone tells us how small the labor force participation is. Yesterday we had 435,000 seeking unemployment benefits. The manipulation of statistics shows serious corruption, but we all knew it was coming.
The Regime wanted 8% unemployment and DbM gives it to them.
The U-3 government marker is what is reported. The U-6 number is between 16% and 17%. We are down 2.5million jobs in three years. We are being spun and inundated by corrupt numbers, but it was all predictable.
An increase in employment of a mere 126,000 people drops the unemployment 0.4% and that is how bad the reporting is.
Herman Cain wakes up today and has to go face Gloria Allred. He will tell her how much Sharon Bialek got. Newt Gingrich wants kids to get up and go to work, and he says in some parts of the country their only work is illegal. DbM has a cow.
In public schools and society, they are treated with kid glove, "That's right, little Al, two plus two is five." Give them a trophy for doing nothing and losing.
>>> They enter real life and find consequences, right and wrong.
_____________________________________________________________
S#2: Baseline budgeting always spends more, reducing rate (maybe)
What they do with the statistics is like what they do with Base-Line Budgeting. The 435,000 are said to be no longer unemployed and it drops 9.0% to 8.6% unemployment.
Newt Gingrich is in the hot seat for suggesting city kids should work.
>>> Now he takes heat for saying that he is going to be the nominee.
KFI News: (Clip-Obama: We added 140,000 private sector jobs in Nov.) 315,000 not looking.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3: Do you believe every statistic and every government report?
There's some weird news: in Saudi Arabia they fear there will be no more virgins if they let women drive. Men will therefore turn to homosexuality, the religious group counsels. How does that work? I don't know. It's a government report and so it must be true. Obama jobless rate is also a government report. Saudi Arabia is the only country where women are not allowed to drive.
We have a long history of women driving in USA. Our expert on women is Bo Snerdley. Does that compute with you, Snerdley? They were driving before they could vote. You don't think there is a correlation between driving and virginity. What do I know: I thought that parking would be the problem.
In Afghanistan, a woman has been raped, held responsible, in prison for years, and now punished by forcing her to marry that attacker. A car would make a difference?
www.nytimes.com/2011/12/02/nyregion/self-abortion-charge-after-fetus-found-in-trash-in-washington-heights.html It is judged murder, but it you go to Abortion clinic, it is not? Why is going to Planned Parenthood for the same thing, not? This is why you take 'women studies', we are not supposed to understand; it is none of our business; we are not even supposed to ask.
>>> OK then. This is a case for women studies.
Annual rate of abortion in USA is probably a million a year, down a little.

Seg#4: Caller talks about their delight and not taking gov't handouts
I figured out why she is in trouble: she cheated a union worker and didn't recycle.
Caller: Thank you for the Light. My wife converted me to Conservatism.
You and your wife now agree on core values. That is key.
Caller-still: We listen to your archives on the web so we can listen together.
> As the first caller, you did a great job of setting the tone for the day.
_____________________________________________________________
S#5: Coca Cola promoted polar bears with white cans, now back to red
> It bombed! You don't see phony-baloney like that with Two if by Tea.
_____________________________________________________________
Segment#6: The white Coca Cola can was a bomb-out
(Theme Music) The 8.6% statistic is corrupt and totally bogus. What do you want to talk about? Coca Cola is considered to be one of the smartest marketing companies. I remember when they changed the formula and it didn't work.
They thought the country wanted to save the planet and polar bears, coming to the table late. They wanted to jump on the wagon even though polar bear population is increasing. Polar bears love to float on the ice chips and swim long distances. So they had to come back to 'Classic Coca Cola'.
Kathryn and I are tasting two flavors and give to the Marine and Law Enforcement scholarship fund, not polar bears. ((Clip-Diane-Sawyer: Coca Cola is remembering when they changed the taste; now again there is a backlash. . . . They are going back to red.)) How we view Santa Clause comes from them.
Moving on: Newt Gingrich is in trouble for his comments on poor kids in poor neighborhoods. ((Clip: They have no idea of showing up to work. They have no role model. They have no concept of being paid unless it is illegal. What if you paid them to show up and mop the floor.)) It wasn't the janitor thing but the notion they should work.
Who is he to say they are useless idiots for not making kids work. He is pointing out what Occupy Wall Street people do not want to hear.
In Florida, they began to give loser little league teams bonus points before the game started. Then they had a rule that every kid has to bat. They got away from scoring. No award unless everyone gets an award. I pointed out it was not good in preparing kids for life. We couldn't grade papers in red, then no grades at all.
They were never wrong, "Two plus two equals five", and coddled. Just like OWS, rather than elevate everybody with a great private economy, they want to bring those that succeed down to the lowest level.
Oprah had the highest rated TV show, we were told, and then she went the executive route, O-network, O-magazine, O-everything. So they brought her back to TV and she didn't get the same ratings. How is that? I know but you figure it out.
In America, we have the 'chick-i-fi-cation' of the news and TV.
>>> Liberalism has dowsed the hopes of another generation.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7: Watch for your December issue of Limbaugh Letter
On the back of the Limbaugh Letter (per DittoCam) for December, we send you a Christmas Card from all of us to all of you, and make fun of polar bears.
A visitor asked, "Can you do that?" Put Coca Cola in? Yes, we did.
When a company goes 'political' you become fair game on this show.
Caller: Are there gov't programs that are honorable? Some are not.
I can tell you that the number of people on food stamps is at an all-time high. It is 44,500,000 people.
>> >> >> It is The Regime buying votes per dependency.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#8: Occupy youth grew in a culture not understanding work
Newt Gingrich was showing compassion: help them learn about a job. ((Montage in DbM: Newt Gingrich goes after poor people, shocking (Al Sharpton); Newt Gingrich has never looked into their poor eyes. He should go to orphanages; talking repeatedly of the poor.)) This is where we are in the culture.
He was not blaming the kids and being cold-hearted. He wants to help. In the old days, work was honorable. At age 13, I made $50 in the summer shining shoes at the barbershop. My Father was so proud.
Someone tell me what is wrong with the concept of teaching someone the value of work. Especially if they are poor, what is the route out? It is not a government handout! Who does he think he is? He gets raked across the coals.
((Clip-Newt: It would be great if schools would hire them in the library or to help janitors.)) Who cares what Democrats and Liberal media says? They are the problem. Besides that, SEIU represents janitors. This is how we end up with OWS, with adults coming down on Newt Gingrich for teaching the value of work.
Caller: Thanks for the idea of the mug set for Christmas gifts.
>>> I'm modestly learning how to accept compliments.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#9: Listeners in this audience know more than 'talking heads'
Caller: [sounds seminar] I called for encouragement; who do we vote for?
Buck up! You think spin is bad now, wait till unemployment gets to 8.2% and 7.9% next summer. A fake number isn't going to do the job. Until there is a robust Economy and real jobs, a statistic won't matter.
Caller: I went with the Republican Party and our district voted McCain.
You latch on to whomever is on fire, not a criticism.
Caller: I want to see Gingrich debate Obama. I would vote for Romney.
What does ignite your passion is voting against Obama.
You are not going to sit the election out; don't worry about your disappointment. This election will be a referendum against Obama. Any one of our candidates could win and be a better president. [ED: A silent majority knows this.]
>>>>> Don't listen to 'know-nothing' pundits;
>>> They don't know what they are talking about.
_____________________________________________________________
Segment#10: Broadcast moments are zipping by.
> > Two hours are in Archive; we only have one biggie left.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#11: Zbigniew Brzezinski shows his Marxist tendencies
(Music) In Iowa December 27, Republicans will debate education and the environment. Our buddies at Newsmax will be involved. The environment? What is there to debate? "The Environment" is a set up. Donald Trump and Newsmax moderate.
Herman Cain is calling a meeting for tomorrow in Atlanta to give a heads up on ending candidacy. Nobody really knows. W-Post may have advanced notice. He tells his wife what went on with Ginger White. He does not appear to be beaten up, yet.
Labor Dpt wants children to not work with large animals and equipment. Farmers are complaining. How do you teach them to work on the farm? They have to go to the bureau to argue about the value of work.
My grandfather grew up on a farm and lived until he was 103. They milked the cows before eating breakfast, dressing, and preparing to go to school. When you refused to work is when you were ostracized. I understand times are different, but the work concept has not changed. Look at who OWS is mad at.
The Occupy Wall Street crowd want the successful to just give it all up. Those that built building, bridges, and corporations were revered and now they are the enemy. OWS kids want success without any work. We send them to college for indoctrination.
Right before our eyes, this translation is taking place. On msNBC, ((Clip-Brzezinski: the United States is become [evil] There is a measure of social inequality and the United States is at the top of the list.)) [Rush mocks his low Bond villain accent: I deserve to be rich because I am smarter than you plebes. I'm not being invited to the right parties anymore, because I worked for Jimmy Carter.]
((Clip-on: Europe has more social mobility upward than America.)) They are just making it up. [More mocking: Obama is doing everything he can to right the boat. He makes us more like Europe, banks barely able to stay open.]
>>> Holy Crap! [Rush uses a technical term for Barbra Streisand.]
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#12: Rush Limbaugh sees value in the Gingrich school work idea
Gini was a1927 author, the scientific basis of Fascism, loved by Brzezinski.
Frank Luntz tells Republicans to use a different word than 'capitalism' and replace it with 'Free Market' or 'Economic Freedom'. Are they not tiny and disbanding? What is there to be afraid of? Republican types will listen to Frank Luntz. So once again we dumb down ourselves to not offend the uninformed.
We don't want to offend the OWS people and those that listen to the Occupy people.
Caller: Newt Gingrich sounded like USSR getting kids to work.
If that were the case, DbM would have loved it. There are those with that fear of Gingrich, sometimes deserved. Gingrich was the architect of Welfare Reform and was instrumental in forcing it on Bill Clinton. What is the reason for school, anyway? It is to prepare for meaningful employment.
As a Conservative, you wonder where the money will come from, since we have none. Who will pay the kids for assisting in the library, you ask. Your red flag goes up when you see a potential new government program.
>>> I don't find anything wrong since kids could do real work.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13: Why cower to a tiny Leftist fringe? Occupy determines?
What do I really think? Rather than run from Liberals and change our word 'capitalism', instead take it to them. Obama cannot possibly run on his economic record. If we don't compare and contrast now, then when will we?
At some point we need to stand up and defend the greatness of this country.
The establishment of the Republican Party is only quasi-Conservative. There is something wrong when we sit around and tear ourselves down. Where are the stories of how bad Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are? Even callers to this show talk about shortcomings of our candidates.
We are more informed and know every flaw, and it makes it difficult to find the perfect candidate. Nobody is good enough because we know flaws. We can have Andy Stern talking about Communism being good, and Luntz saying 'capitalism' is a dirty word. Having a job is bad and teaching kids to work is also bad. Why let a small fringe group dictate the conversation?
How many millions of people has capitalism fed or killed compared to Communism?
What the caller was thinking was, "How come this is left to government?" Our problem is way too much government. You can't fix the environment by expanding government. Paul Ryan had his plan to shrink government, and Newt called it Conservative social engineering.
Time will tell, by their words and their actions. Heritage Foundation is the one truly and steadfast Conservative voice in Washington DC. Join now and make a difference. They stand up for you.
>>> It is amazing the resources you have access to: www.AskHeritage.org
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#14: Does Frank Luntz want us to all be like McCain?
Caller: You could parody "Toys For Snots" and toss Elmo to OWS.
[Laughing] Who tells them there is no 'Santa'?
Caller: We had a after-school work in MS.
Now you propose it and you are a creep.
I'm not sure Newt was taking about a new program: you could take dollars from existing school budgets. We are not talking six-figure salaries, like janitors when you are an SEIU union oldster. Kids would benefit even from minimum wages.
Do you need an LLC, living will or trust? Try Legal Zoom online. They will connect you with an attorney to answer your basic questions for free.
Time has zinged by here; what a day; we have Frank Luntz to not use the word 'capitalism' and saying to tell OWS, "I get it."
>>> Talk about 'snatching Defeat from the jaws of Victory'.

Seg#15: Rush wants to emphasize this one thought :
Capitalism is not responsible for what is going on in Obamaville.
>>> The last three years is due to Obama, not capitalism.

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Early Christmas"
In October 2010, one of New York's largest mortgage foreclosure firms, Steven J. Baum P.C., held a Halloween Party. The office was "redecorated to resemble a row of foreclosed homes," and several partiers dressed like homeless people. We know this because an ex-employee eventually sent photos of the party to the New York Times.
The pictures were published last month and fallout came quickly. The firm started losing business. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were two of the biggest firms to withdraw as clients. Last week, "Occupy" protesters sent their goons to the firm's Buffalo offices to protest corporate greed, with the chant, "Hey, hey. Ho, ho. Steven Baum has got to go."
Now Steven Baum has announced will he will go. On Monday, the firm filed notice with New York State officials of mass layoffs, and a spokesman confirmed the firm plans to shut its doors.
As a result about 90 employees will lose their jobs. But 600 employees at a subsidiary of the Steven J. Baum company will also lose their jobs, and hundreds more who depended on document processing work from the firm will have their livelihoods threatened as well.
So, the fallout from a stupid Halloween party, a former employee, out-of-control political correctness and the mighty New York Times is hundreds of lives shattered … dreams destroyed just in time for the holidays. This is what journalists live for! For the Times, Christmas came early this year! Look at all the lives they destroyed at the holiday. It's cool!

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"The New York Times today in an article on Barney Frank called him 'prickly,' and I think they probably meant that as a compliment given that the New York Times said it. Can you imagine what would happen if I described Barney Frank as 'prickly'?"
"Would somebody explain to me where is the valor in sitting on your butt taking money from other people? Where is the honor, where is the greatness, where is this entitlement that allows people to get up every day and think they are owed something because of some mysterious crime against them that's gone on all of their lives."
"It's very simple, folks. Just like with the communists in the Soviet Union or the ChiComs, the ultimate goal of the Democrat Party is to discourage anyone from getting anything unless it comes from The Party -- The Party equaling the government."
"No doubt in my mind, Occupy Wall Street, one of the reasons it's falling apart is because of the Republican nomination campaign."
"By the way, I'm a little jealous. A hundred Occupy people showed at Obama's fundraiser; they think he's sold out now because Obama's raising money with the 1%. They feel betrayed. I only got 15 of these ragamuffins on Tuesday night at Town Hall. Obama gets a hundred of them!"
"Here's Andy Stern in the Wall Street Journal telling us the free market system is an abject failure; it's had its run; we need to be like China. I don't know if Andy Stern is just ignorant or venal or if he's just a flat-out communist. Probably all three."
"I am convinced that the Occupy Wall Street movement is an Obama creation to destroy Romney."
"Capitalism is not what's happening in this country, and here come these Occupy Wall Street people -- and who knows how many others in dire economic circumstances -- who think the problem is free markets, because that's what they believe this country is engaged in now, when of course the word 'free' and 'Obama' simply can't peacefully co-exist in the same sentence."
"We have the president and his minions and his journalists and the rest of the Democrat Party running around citing class warfare with this 1% versus 99% -- and of course the 1% that we're all supposed to hate are the producers. The 1% that we're all supposed to hate are people who work. The 1% that we're all supposed to hate are the people who are earning a living and paying taxes."
"We finally reached a point here, ladies and gentlemen -- and this is something I have been warning you people about for two-plus decades -- where liberals are comfortable citing communism as the endgame."
"This election is about the individual versus the state. This upcoming election is about the public sector versus the private sector. This upcoming election is about state control of property versus individuals controlling their own private property. This is an election of the makers versus the takers, and what hangs in the balance really is the American way of life."
"Poverty in China is defined as somebody earning less than a dollar $1.25 a day. You know how poverty in this country is defined: $29,500 for a family of four."
"Has anybody stopped to realize nothing has come of those Herman Cain sexual harassment charges other than the charges?"
"My favorite Jelly Belly jelly bean is the buttered popcorn flavor. I have to find a way to get a supply of just those."
"The rich in China, for the most part -- the really rich that would be rich in the sense that you and I think of rich -- are trying to leave, because they are targets. No wonder Andy Stern loves this system!"
"I can't believe how history repeats. It was just 1989 and '90, the Berlin Wall comes down. It was not that long ago that we thought we had defeated state communism, Soviet state communism, and now look where we are. I don't mean to sound hysterical here, but this has been an incredible week, folks, for what the regime is willing to admit to here."
"You know where the news is on cable networks? It's in the crawl at the bottom of the screen. That's where you find out what's going on in the world. That's where you find out there's been a plane crash, that's where you find out if some kid's been kidnapped, that's where you find out if a bank has been robbed."
"There's no news anymore. The media don't even make any pretense. There's not even any mainstream press. It's just a giant White House public information office."
"The news media is the Democrat Party's defense lawyers and the Republican Party's prosecutors."
"Who would have ever believed that we would have elected a president who could literally pass such a freedom-killing piece of legislation called Obamacare? Who would have believed that we would have elected a president who has purposely, systematically destroyed how many millions of jobs in the private sector for one reason, to grow the government."
"The history of the human race is more commonly found in tyrannical regimes. That's what's been so amazing about this country, and our existence has been in part to liberate as many people from those types of regimes as possible."
"There isn't a person alive other than a deranged, uneducated college student -- in other words, young, naive, mal-educated, ill-educated person. There isn't a person alive of any age and maturity and power who is suggesting or promoting a communist-type government without knowing what it is."
