From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Clear?"
Another one! Seasoned citizen Lenore Zimmerman told AP she was strip-searched at Kennedy Airport. The 85-year-old woman, traveling to Fort Lauderdale, asked TSA employees if she could skip the body scanner due to worries it would interfere with her defibrillator.
Zimmerman – described by AP as "hunched over" and weighing about 110 pounds – was made to take off her pants – and claims her leg was injured during the humiliating search. Ms. Zimmerman asked, "Do I look like a terrorist?"
The TSA has responded – claiming Zimmerman was not stripped and a review of their video shows proper procedures were followed. She says they're lying "to protect their butts."
Now, look, folks. This is the holiday season. The airports are crowded and they're going to be crowded for the next month – even during the Obama Depression. The last thing our highly skilled, highly trained TSA government workers need – is confrontation with the riff-raff. Grandma Zimmerman dares ask if she "looks like a terrorist"?  No. She doesn't. But who cares what terrorists "look like"? That has never been the issue – and will never be the issue.
If the government wants to pat down your toddler, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your grandma, grandpa, or your Aunt Zeituni – that's their right! Stop complaining! If they want to pat you down, send you through x-rays, scanners, air blowers, make you take off your shoes, belts, and underwear, so what? Do it – smile – and remember: They're the government. They're here to help! Are we clear?

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"The number one optic that the Democrat media machine has created is that Obama is liked.  It's the biggest of all their big lies."

"When conventional wisdom forms, I go the other way. Conventional wisdom is groupthink."
"What is it with politicians who want to constantly put their hand in the public cookie jar and pull out more for themselves?"
"I am a conservative. I am so grounded in conservativism, I'm so grounded in common sense, and it's not possible for me to waver from it. I don't doubt myself! I don't doubt what I believe. My core is not negotiable."
"I love the way these Ron Paul supporters try to tell us who is or who isn't conservative, when Paul is a Libertarian."
"The conservative movement, and I mean this from bottom of my large beating heart -- is made up of me, talk radio, the Tea Party and the American people who are conservative."
"I think Occupy Wall Street was established to run against Romney because Occupy Wall Street is anti-Wall Street, and the only Republican candidate they can tie to Wall Street is Romney."
"Fox is supposed to be on our side, but they are still the media. This cannot be denied. And the media, the establishment is invested in the status quo. Groupthink happens. It just does."
"It isn't hard to see why Barack Obama's election in 2008 was the toast of Hollywood."
"Common sense has taught me to reject conventional wisdom. Common sense has taught me to spot and identify the desires and objectives of establishment political party people on both sides of the aisle."
"We're dealing with one of the most unpopular presidents in history. That's the truth.
We're also dealing with one of the cagiest and most corrupt, and we are facing a campaign that is going to be dispiritingly, depressingly negative."
"The Tea Party is not the Ron Paul campaign. Ron Paul has nothing to do with the Tea Party, zilch, zero, nada. There is no way that you can back Ron Paul and also back Bachmann and Santorum."
"I am convinced the more I read and the more I read between the lines, Republicans don't seem all that confident Obama can be beat, but they do think that Romney can help the Republicans pick up Senate seats and hold the House."
"If Jon Corzine were a Republican, what do you think would be happening to him right about now? If Jon Corzine were a Republican, what would the relevance of this story be in the Drive-By Media? You've got a miniature version of Bernie Madoff here."
"The regime is the Chevy Volt; the regime is GM; the regime is the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That would be Obama."
"The guy in the White House has destroyed the economy, the value of homes, jobs, everything. And somehow this guy's an automatic reelect? In whose book? Certainly not mine."
"My callers are gunning for me today, folks. I am a shaken host here. Not stirred, but shaken. Hanging tough."
"This man's got 45 million Americans on food stamps, for crying out loud. He's accumulated more debt than any prior president by a large margin and he's only three years in, and he's lecturing us, we're the problem?"
"Getting up every day as a conservative is to get up and be ridiculed, laughed at, made fun of and made to think that you're the biggest fringe minority kook ever to live. When it's just the opposite."
"I have a loyalty and a devotion to my core belief. There's nothing I do that's a calculation. I don't have a PR firm. I don't do anything to get noticed, nothing artificial."
"Obama is his policies! They are inseparable! The man who influenced and molded him -- the man, Obama -- cannot be protected any longer!"
"This speech that Obama gave was sickening. I think it was even more sickening to me because I just found out that the Republican National Committee has once again sent out the word that Obama is not to be attacked. You can attack Gingrich all day long. You can attack Herman Cain all day long. As a Republican, you can attack Michele Bachmann or Rick Santorum or Herman Cain, Rick Perry all day long. Don't attack Obama."
"I can't think of the last Democrat campaign which has not sought to personally destroy, not just a campaign, but character, life."

A few more items from the Rush Limbaugh website
RUSH: It's like clockwork. It's becoming predictable. I don't care who it is, a Republican presidential candidate breaks out of the pack, gets close to Romney -- or even surpasses Romney in polling data in certain states -- and the Republican establishment goes after him.
RUSH: This outfit that Clinton was the head of was getting 50 grand a month on a retainer from Corzine, because Corzine said he wanted access to Clinton's political "family." That's sort of like saying you want to be in with the Gambino bunch or the Lucchese mob.
RUSH: The left is constantly out there trying to convince people that every big industry and corporation in America is trying to kill its customers. Big Oil is trying to pollute the world and destroy it. Every outfit out there is trying to pollute the water and the air, and the Republicans like dirty water and dirty air and so forth. And now isn't it ironic? We finally have a corporation that's trying to kill its customers, there's no outrage about it.
RUSH: Conventional wisdom is groupthink. In other words, the Democrats, the Drive-Bys, Republican "insiders" will not admit that anybody can beat Obama.
RUSH: Think of me as a solid, mature oak tree that stands even after all of these hurricanes have come and gone. A lot of other people are wishy-washy little sprigs, get blown about with the public winds.
RUSH: Here we've got the absolute worst president in our lifetime and the Republican National Committee apparently has just had a conference call where they've told people, "Don't say that!" Obama IS his policies! They are inseparable!

JOHN HINDERAKER
That's the modern Democratic Party. Washington handouts are coming so fast it's impossible to keep track of them, but here is one more that had not been on my radar screen: the New Alternative Transportation to Give Americans Solutions Act, better known as the NAT GAS Act. What does NAT GAS do? It imposes a user fee on natural gas that starts at 2.5 cents and ramps up, in the »

Campaigning in Kansas today, President Obama momentarily forgot which of the 57 states he was in: But that was just a slip of the tongue. The really dumb thing he said is that the internet is causing unemployment: Layoffs too often became permanent, not part of the business cycle. And these changes didn't just affect blue collar workers. If you were a bank teller or a phone operator or a »

On the left: Richard Cordray. Then…former contestant on Jeopardy. Now…Obama nominee in jeopardy.
My latest column spotlights the upcoming Thursday vote on Dodd-Frank czar nominee Richard Cordray. The White House doesn't have the votes. Not only are the Senate Republicans holding the line, but Team Obama is also bracing for several Dems to bail as well.
Naturally, the administration is in full class warfare mode. Naturally, the Fishwrap of Record cheered his "populist chord" against "breathtaking greed" while ignoring his latest imperial attempt at a breathtaking power grab. See below for how the Soros monkeys are pushing Obama to follow in TR's footsteps at ram Cordray through via recess appointment.
"This isn't about class warfare. This is about the nation's welfare," Obama lectured in Osawatomie, KS. Nah. It's about what Obama is and has always been out: His electoral welfare.
Transparency you can count on.

The Orwellian American Left
As I heard Barack Obama and his propaganda minister, Jay Carney, endorsing tax cuts as a vehicle for economic growth, I was reminded, again, of George Orwell's "1984" and the striking similarities between his Oceania and the American left's vision for America.

Oceania's Big Brother regime had "four Ministries between which the entire apparatus of government was divided," the Ministry of Truth, the Ministry of Peace, the Ministry of Love and the Ministry of Plenty. Each department was dedicated to the opposite principle suggested by its title. "Truth" disseminated lies. "Peace" promoted war. "Love" enforced uniformity of thought. And "Plenty" manipulated the economy to impoverish the people while enriching the ruling class. God was expelled and absolute truth abolished, while "doublespeak" was promoted.

Oceania's Thought Police was the Ministry of Love's enforcement arm, while the Ministry of Truth undertook the task of rewriting history in service to the Party slogan, "Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past."

Today the left has a Ministry of Truth, because it knows that twice as many Americans identify themselves as conservatives than as liberals and so has to disguise its policies to deceive the majority. Its Ministry of Peace would be better-named the Ministry of Bipartisanship, which, in the name of reaching across the aisle with a friendly hand, slices it off with a partisan dagger. Its Ministry of Love is more aptly named the Ministry of Tolerance, which dictates one way of thinking and demonizes dissenters. The Ministry of Plenty is alive and well in the Obama administration's cadre of economic advisers.
