Your Rush ECHO for Tuesday 12-20-2011

Your Rush Limbaugh Echo for Today, 12/20/11
Student NOTES from Institute juniors, not 'official'
Opening:   Kim Jong-Dead is still dead;
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1:  Republican candidates should listen to Rush Limbaugh
People crying over him are FAT, so there is an income disparity in N.Korea.

A poll in Drive-by Media shows the popularity numbers for Obama numbers are coming back, up 5%.  I warned you unemployment will be in the 8.x% this summer so they can say unemployment is 8%.

NC Gov Beverly Purdue has been given unemployment numbers in advance, not supposed to happen.  Not even WH is supposed to get advance info. That was so she could craft a press release in advance.

However the WH has to do it, the unemployment rate will get down close to 8%.  They have wiped out two million jobs and two million people no longer looking, otherwise the unemployment number would be close to 11%.

And remember the Yahoo reporter invited to the group phone call where Republican leadership said, 'Don't go after Obama, personally'.  Just warning you to watch out.  "Oh, it's all coming together", and Obama saying, "It is worse than we were led to believe."

Axelrod is saying Republicans will sabotage the Economy to get votes.  Gregg Sargent wrote the article on it.  Their primary purpose is to dispirit you.  That's all they've got, folks.  When they talk up Ron Paul, that is the reason.

All our candidates ought to be saying, "The first Black president is not interested in the working White vote;  they go only for the rich White vote and poor people."  It is an effort to divide Americans.

There are articles today that woman will be the 'canary in the mine' to determine which Obama ideas will work and which will not.

The story is huge and has found its way across the pond to London.  WH is desperate and do not want working-class voters.  It is not even about color, you have to be careful how you point their strategy out.  What does it tell you, "President Obama cannot win reelection with the vote of White blue-caller workers."

"The Republican Party has become the party of working blue-caller voters."
>>> We'll be right back to discuss Obama and his plans.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3:  Light-Squared was supported by Soros and Obama
I know how hard it is to not get sucked in to a media onslaught.  It is not over for us;  if it is over for anybody, it is over for Obama.  President Obama cannot approve an oil pipeline to decrease dependence on Arab oil, create 200,000 jobs and decrease gasoline prices.

At the core of president Obama's campaign was he could unify.  How is that working out?  What has he done to unify?  Thomas Edsall says we are no longer 'Red states vs Blue states' but rather 'Black states' vs 'White states', which means to me, 'working class states' vs 'Welfare states'.

The negative campaign of Romney against Gingrich has some of my friends ticked off:  what will he do to Conservatives after elected, they ask.

ATT and T-Mobile deal is off;
>>> GPS can watch you: Soros & Obama have interests.
[ED: We have kids and grandkids visiting and I am not totally getting it all here.]
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#6:  Keep perspective when seeking the Republican candidate
(Theme Music) I wouldn't want to be a Democrat president of the United States, having to veto the Keystone pipeline to win reelection.

Thomas Sowell sees this as not just another election.  "We are going to change the country", promised Obama.   www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/286226

He is saying, "Keep things in perspective" when judging the Gingrich tabloid-past vs all he accomplished for America.

> "If the Past sits in judgment on the Present, the Future [is] lost."
Winston Churchill
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7:  Moderates lose every time
((Clip: Gov Christie:   The problem for us if Gingrich is at the top, it would be about him and not focusing on Economy and Obama.  In the end, he carries so much and not good for the party.))  This is the classic modern error: to run as a Moderate.  They believe by doing so they won't be attacked.

"It will be all about Gingrich or Romney."  Really?  That is not how it works.

Media likes us Moderates and will not be mean to us.  It doesn't work !

Caller:  Did you coin the phrase, "Dumbing down America"?
No, maybe it was Christie or Gingrich.
Caller:  A billionaire is a thousand-fold millionaires.  Why lump them?
Some private colleges pay ($1.9million for Vanderbilt chancellor) while at the same time raising tuition.  36 college presidents make $1million or more.  Where is Occupy Wall Street on this?  They are Obama supporters.
>>> They are indoctrinating young minds:  to be liberal Liberals.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#11: The FICA payroll tax is what funds Social Security
(Music) The FICA payroll tax extension would have blown a hole of $250billion in Social Security.  How many people look at their stubs for breakdown?  FICA is the sole funder of Social Security.  Here you have a Democrat president pressing a 4% reduction when we hardly pay social security now.

Most young voters know Social Security will be broke when they need it.

It this were a Republican president, he would be demonized as kicking seniors and feeding them pet food.   When Bush wanted to privatize just a portion of investment, he was demonized.

Raise taxes on the 'rich'?  "Pay-Go" (pay as you go) never happens.  It is truly bazzare. Obama says we have more serious things to worry about, like a Hawaii vacation and his reelection.

Extend for two months only?  It is a nightmare for small businesses, to rewrite their software.  The only rational positions are in the House. Republicans want to cut the 6.2% FICA tax for the full year and be done with it.

We have here a Democrat president and a Democrat Senate cutting social security funding by $250billion, totally amazing.
>>> People don't associate payroll tax cuts with Social Security.
They should.

Segment#11:        [Two-if-by-Tea talk.]     [NFL talk.]     [Golf talk.]

Seg#12:  Should Rush Limbaugh accept more TV appearances?
Caller:  Your country needs you;   be on TV;   more than with Gretta.
That and the CPAC speech.  People encourage me.  Why me?
Caller: Libs had this in the works for years; they have their guy in WH.
Our candidates need to articulate Conservatism, not just me.
Caller: You gift to explain simply is a God-given talent and inspiration.
When I did TV, there was a crew for three hours, and a makeup babe.
>>> It took ten hours for an episode of a half-hour TV show.
Caller was talking about more TV appearances, not per se a 'show'.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13:  Romney
Thursday December 29th the whole Greta interview will be rerun at 10:00pm.
[ED:  Count on Rush accepting more TV invites.  Staff encourages it.]

Caller: With school food, the Free Market triumphs over the White House.
School officials were caught selling hamburger "Junk food".

#3  If the number of Americans wanting jobs was the same, unemployment would calculate to 11%, not 8.9%.

April 2010 ((Clip-Romney: There are some similarities, and some differences.  . . .  I believe in Federalism —  ours was a state plan for Massachusetts.  Repeal the bad, and keep the good.))  Romney is twisting himself into a prezel saying Obamacare has to go, but the MA plan was OK.

Romney mentions two similarities, and one of them is the 'mandate' to become insured.  Chris Wallace asks Romney  ((Clip-Romney:  Obamacare wants to put someone between you and your doctor.  . . .  Obamacare must not stand.))  The constitutionality challenge is all about mandating single-payer.

It is a liberal site that keeps bringing it up:  TalkingPointsMemo    It is the website for  Center for American Progress.
>>> It isn't Gingrich or Bachmann bringing this up against Romney.

Seg#14:  Merry Christmas
OK, Christmas is this weekend: visit www.RushProFlowers.com  before Friday.
>>> Be prepared and remember that flowers always work.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#15:     Are you kidding me?
CNN says not having a 2% cut in taxes will throw us back into recession.
>>> Not doing a tax cut will throw us back into recession?
Closing:   See you tomorrow for 'Open-Line Friday'.

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Rich Get Poor"
Some disturbing news for liberals, especially right before Christmas. The cliché about "the rich getting richer" has been dispelled.
Wall Street Journal writer Robert Frank writing in the Weekend Investor section - which means no one saw it - reports that despite the heated rhetoric from pundits and politicians, "the top 1 percent is hardly a fixed group that enjoys consistent economic gains. To the contrary, the wealthiest have become the most crash-prone group in our economy."
Frank ran the numbers. IRS data shows that between 2007 and 2009, the incomes of the top 1 percent of earners was reduced by more than 30 percent. A Federal
Reserve study issued in November found almost a third of the richest 1 percent in 2007 – those earning more than $343,000 –– were no longer rich two year later. It's the most volatile of any income group. By contrast, "the average income of the bottom 90 percent" fell less than 3 percent during the same period.
Now liberals have fixed beliefs about the rich. They believe nobody gets rich unless they cheat, steal, exploit, or inherit. They believe once rich, always rich; and that the rich never pay their fair share of taxes because they have their own super-secret tax code.
The woeful ignorance about how wealth is created, and how Americans move up and down the economic ladder, has never been part of liberal education. And despite these latest facts, liberals will stay disgruntled and uninformed. Which is why so many brainless liberal dolts end up in "occupy" protests, instead of on the road to prosperity themselves!

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"I know what you people want.  I'm fully aware you want a candidate who sounds like what you hear on this show."

"There's nobody who is informed properly on capitalism in America who would vote for Obama unless they personally benefit from it and don't care what happens to the country in the process."
"Never count on the Republican Party to actually think about the consequences before something happens. They just react after it happens. They're constantly defending things. They are never moving things forward. Constantly playing defense."
"We conservatives believe that no two people or things are equal; it's not possible. We're all unique. We cannot all be made the same, despite the best intentions."
"There is no conservative movement in Washington. I hate to break it to you."
"You know, Calvin Coolidge, an ex-president, said something that's pretty intriguing to me. Four-fifths of all of our troubles would disappear if we would just sit down and keep still. Just shut up, don't do anything, just let things work out, and four-fifths of them will. But Jeb Bush is right. Presidents, governors, 'Do something! Do something, and do something now!' It's a mistake."
"I was tuned out all weekend. I really wasn't paying attention. It was Kathryn's birthday over the weekend, those are also multiple day events and I didn't pay any attention to this over the weekend. Folks, even I need time out from this stuff. Even I do."
"The Republican primary voter does not want a moderate. They don't want somebody they perceive as being a moderate."
"I know what you people want. I'm fully aware you want a candidate who sounds like what you hear on this show."
"The media and the Democrats did such a profound job of ginning up hatred, disrespect, animosity, whatever you want to call it for the Bushes that it would be suicide for Jeb Bush to run now."
"The Republican Party does not want a conservative nominee. They're not comfortable with conservatives."
"Conservatism is timeless. You don't ever move on from conservatism. Conservatism is never in your rearview mirror. Conservatism is never passé."
"You're never gonna be able to go back at any point in the past and find a quote from me that indicates I have renounced conservatism or that I think it's passé, harmful, or that I think it's going to stand us in ill stead. Quite the opposite."
"The whole notion that the government, a central planner, can go out and dictate who gets hired for his own benefit, not theirs -- understand, this is not to benefit the military. This is to make Obama sound like he cares."
"Snerdley's doing a wonderful life trip on me here, what the country would be like if I weren't on the radio, but I am on the radio and there's no Clarence up there that needs to save me from that thought."
"Isn't it due to ignorant and uninformed voters that we got Obama? Aren't the Democrats trying to dumb down everybody in our schools? For what purpose? Brainwashing them. No question in my mind. There's no other reason or way to explain what they've done to our education system."
"The uninformed voter is the Democrat target audience. The uninformed voter, the stupid, ignorant voter is the victim in American society. That's whom the Democrats go after.

Joe Biden: The Taliban Per Se is Not Our Enemy
**Written by Doug Powers
Clueless Joe is at it again:
In an interview with Leslie Gelb in Newsweek, Vice President Joe Biden says:
Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That's critical. There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy because it threatens U.S. interests.
