Segment#1: Explain Conservatism clearly to win all elections
An amazing debate last night, I was jumping out of my chair a few times last night. If done from the get-go, the person explaining Conservatism, wins. I'm one that thinks it is never too late, never over till the vote is in.
It was FoxNews and WSJ and when it was over, they looked at what Twitter people thought. It was hilarious! The Ron Paul robots had taken control.
FNC Brett Baier ran a good format and at times decided to just get out of the way; it was not just an extended Express-the-Depressed interview. Newt got the only-in-history Standing Ovation [of a few, before the break]. Juan Williams asked about the poor. He didn't address media at all and did not accuse Juan Williams of poor motives.
The audience showed what they hunger/thirst for. .!.
It was Newt's night but they all did well. There is no way Obama will agree to do more than two debates. He can make it look like he doesn't have time for the CiWaWa nipping at his ankles — he is too busy screwing up the country.
The thing that surfaced as crystal clear: Obama wants cradle-to-grave and Newt had so many great lines, "99 weeks is way to long: enough for an associate degree."
The role of government is not to do everything for you.
>>> Our message is, "We will help you to be successful for yourself."
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#2: Newt Gingrich hit the hot button for Conservatives like Rush!
Here is the Newt montage of homeruns: ((Clip-Newt: Only the elites despise earning money; PC doesn't want facts. Every [America] is endowed with ability to earn a job, and if that makes Liberal elites angry, I'll continue to do so [Standing O] Andrew Jackson had the idea, "Kill them"; 99 weeks is an associate degree . . . We help others help themselves. . . . maximizing food stamps is terrible for this country.))
"I'm going to continue help the poor find a job, find a better job, and finally own the business", Newt. The elite treat us in a condescending manner, and those in SC know full well what made America great. They don't hear it articulated. Instead, they hear candidates afraid to criticize Obama and his Agenda.
>>> Somebody last night just cast away the fear and hit them between
the eyes, telling them that Conservatism is good for all Americans.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3: Rush Limbaugh is passionate to shed the cultural stereotyping
Frank Luntz said it was the only time a candidate got a standing ovation. ((Clip-Juan Williams: You said Black kids lack a worth ethic. Don't you see that is insulting to all Americans?)) No, I don't see that. You could take the inflated salary of NYC union janitors and pay 30 teens. Earning work is good for the poor. ((Clip-Juan, sticking to his point.)) He got booed and Newt didn't take the bait and he didn't attack Juan Williams but stayed on point, to cheers. ((Clip)) I asked Cookie to leave the cheers and applause in.
It was like my CPAC speech: we want the best for everyone;
and people like Reid, Pelosi, and Obama are holding them back.
What is racist about Newt saying he wants Black kids to own their own businesses. [Rush becomes more passionate than ever before on radio.] It is them, not us, that plays racial politics.
Juan Williams was shocked with the Newt answer and the audience reaction. It was like when Juan was 'shocked' when he found out Lord Monckton didn't believe AGW.
The cultural divide is too deep to cross in this election. The pop-culture is the main part of it, shown also by Twitter. Mr Snerdley, Liberal Democrats have spent 60 years building our Berlin Wall as the cultural divide. Newt wants to tear down the wall.
>>> Democrats want to add Hispanics to Blacks within their Cultural Wall.
Progressive Liberals won't let the depressed escape.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#4: To win landslides, promote Conservatism with boldness, No Fear !
There was no fear with Newt and he did not preface his answers. Juan Williams got fired from NPR for a comment on Muslims. On an airplane flight he was nervous. Then he found out NPR was biased against Fox. So he got hired at Fox with a salary increase. Then last night, and you ask me if we will bridge the cultural divide.
Juan Williams is not thinking of what he doesn't understand — he is thinking, "My gosh, these Conservatives are crazy. They are worst than we thought." The customer of a newspaper is always wrong: If you don't understand what we write, you are stupid. "Go cancel your subscription", and they do.
A lot was illustrated last night and we applaud Newt. Santorum was great; Rick Perry was his greatest.
>>> Romney survived without scars but not with the same homeruns.
ED: Probably his supporters saw other hopefuls making his same points.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#5: Learning the value of work when you are young lasts forever
As a prelude to mentioning kids working as janitors Newt Gingrich mentioned
his own daughter. She did just that: worked as a part-time janitor.
>>> I earned $50 shining shoes in a barber shop when I was 13-yrs-old.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#6: Send some bucks to ScottWalker.org to save America
(Theme Music) WI Governor Scott Walker calls in, (up for 'recall').
Rush: You went from deficit to surplus without raising taxes or firings.
Walker: Good points. Big Gov't Unions want everything.
Rush: Signatures are due today. How does this work?
Walker: They need ¼ of the votes; they'll have 700,000 needing 500,000.
Rush: I read some state where Mickey Mouse was a legal signature.
Walker: Yes, WI. We will challenge the signatures. One bragged about 80 sigs.
Our people have seen the effects of the reforms: taxes back, assessments down.
Rush: So you don't even know who your opponent will be in an election.
Walker: We made the reforms work. We have grassroot support.
Rush: The Left just can't tolerate this kind of success.
Walker: Illinois flounders by contrast. WI wants leaders who follow through.
Go to www.ScottWalker.org to support us. We intend to win!
Rush: What now? It will cost taxpayers $9million.
Walker: We'll have the election by mid-summer, important long-term.
Rush: You are proving the contentions unions make are not true.
Walker: I'm a firm believer in Truth. State senators were challenged.
One town mayor said our measures would bankrupt his city, and before
the [prior] recall election, the comptroller was forced to say the opposite.
>>> Rush: We will be tracking this and so stay in touch.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7: Send contributions to ScottWalker.org to save America
Gov Scott Walker is on the leading and bleeding edge where other states find themselves. They raised taxed in IL and it didn't work. The other governors will either do as Scott Walker, or 'Go Greece'. Democrats fled the state of Wisconsin to not vote, a story of 'Sanity vs Thuggery'. It cannot be stated enough: under Scott Walker in WI the unions have as much power as under Obama with unions.
How is this possible, you ask? Democrats! Who opposes photo-ID? You have to show ID to get on an airplane or rent a video. It is clear that Democrats want to cheat. He's not bellyaching about it, I am. You can rent an apt for a month and vote?
The local gov't and states cannot print money like Obama. At some point they have to own up.
We want our victories to be real and rooted in ideas. We want a mandate after Conservative victories. All it takes is the right message and Gov Walker has it. He has shown that union 'end-of-the-world' predictions are lies. Property taxes have gone down, Etc.
If Mickey Mouse and Adolf Hitler can sign the petition, they can also vote.
Did you know that if you try to unionize in China, you go to prison?
>>> 'Good Behavior' gets you out, to go to a N.Korea prison camp.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#8: Rush talks about snapping the shoe-shine rag and spit-shine
ED: Lynnette is working at L.A.CA polling to fill a city council seat from San Pedro. Sister of past-mayor James Hahn, Janice Hahn moved on to run for Congress. Anyway, I promised her I would go buy some soy milk at Target.
[Driving back, I hear Rush talking to a Mom about her daughter working.]
Caller: She exceeded expectations and go a scholarship.
Liberals will say, 'Why didn't she just stay working at McDonalds? Why did she get special treatment?'
>>> Work should be considered a privilege and an honor.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#9: This segment is short because Segment 8 was long, FYI.
Ameritopia — The unmaking of America is the new book by Mark Levin and has high reviews on Amazon. At least for now, I don't have to write another book. Vince Flynn has been after me to write another book.
>>> It would be a compendium of all my radio comments, [so Right].
_____________________________________________________________
S#10: Rush Limbaugh is still not endorsing in the Republican Primary
We still have great sound-bytes, not intending to be an all-Newt-show.
>>> You all have your own minds and will still do what you do.
_____________________________________________________________
S#11: Don't ponder Liberal-craziness; defeat them first; convert later
(Music) A solar group with Stimulus $$ CEO Michael Cicak again announces layoffs.
www.toledoblade.com/Energy/2012/01/17/Solar-panel-company-lays-off-40-employees.html And a non-profit awards $40million settlement.
Don't tell me money doesn't matter. The Beatles broke up over money. They were getting low returns from royalty deals back then. They got their money from touring and some of them tired. The quest for more money is always there.
Cookie left applause in ((Newt-Montage-again: Only the elites despise getting rich; I'll continue to help the poor get a job, better job, and someday own the job; everybody wins when you have a saving nation; "Kill them", Andrew Jackson; 99 weeks is an associate degree; we believe in saying 'helping you help yourself is a good thing'; encouraging food stamps is a terrible thing.))
"It tell you everything about Barack Obama and the five of us: we actually think that work is good." [Etc.] Prior from that Juan Williams asked, "Don't you see. . ." and Newt said, "NO, I don't see it that way, etc." Had Newt been this in every debate, think about where he would be. He would be standing a little higher.
Newt, at his best, he is inspiring. He inspired me during the Reagan years. He was never better than with "Contract with America". It never works when he falls into the trap of pleasing DbM and Nancy Pelosi.
We, as Conservatives, want everybody to be productive and successful. There is enough wealth to go around if The Regime stops stealing. Why is it always assumed that Gov't has to get bigger? Why can't individuals get bigger? The government can not make people prosperous.
Conservatives we, are average American citizens. We are not the ones that deny others. We wish all of us loved this country and can't understand those that hate USA. We don't care where they come from, race, sex-orientation, not even religion. We don't care unless they claim 'victim status'.
We have to defeat Liberals, and then try to bring them into the fold.
Now, our establishment does see voting blocks, and that is part of our problem in winning elections. We are not casting them out—they cast themselves out.
>>> Liberals run around pretending they are the only ones caring.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#12: Ron Paul can't win anything. He stays in to make points.
[Caller dropped off.] All right; back to soundbytes; had time for one call.
((Clip-Newt: bin-Laden had been attacking, killed 3,000 on our own soil; and then you find out that Pakistan had been housing. Andrew Jackson, "Kill them".))
Ron Paul, "We don't need any more wars; they'll bomb us."
[Rush uses a whiny imitation voice for Ron Paul.]
And The Regime held seminars on "Why do they hate us?"
Even today, folks, we have headlines, "Tough on the violence rhetoric" and "Cut cutting over the violence rhetoric".
>>> Leftist blogs: Gingrich violent rhetoric promotes child violence.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13: Can true patriots win back the heart and culture of America ?
Of course the debates are helping the leader, Mitt Romney.
Caller: The great debate was on MLK Day, "Content, not color" .!.
They could have pointed that out. Newt was the best ever.
Democrats don't see it like the niece of Martin Luther King. Not reported when she said that her uncle would speak up against Abortion.
Caller: Newt Gingrich made up any ground lost by his attack ads. Ovations.
You also saw it to be like my Conservative annual CPAC speech.
Caller: At Plymouth Rock, "If any man will not work, he will not eat."
Newt did not get ovations by attacking free-loaders. He was cheered for his positive message. His comments were rooted in Conservative principles.
That is why he is not understood in Leftist DbM. All they can come up with is that Newt supports child labor. Liberals have been raised to be freeloaders and believe that they are victims. The only reason they don't have anything is because others have stolen it from them and they have no way out. The free loaders are trapped on the wrong side of the Berlin Wall, the Cultural Divide.
>>> The Obamaville social culture has to be changed to get America back.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#14: Businesses need to stand up for their American principles
Talking about culture rot and the captain of the cruise ship in Italy. He left the ship and was one of the first off. "I'm not hanging around to get caught." Recordings are starting to come out.
Rush Ad: Lifelock Ultimate cannot protect you if you are not a member.
They were all good on stage. Rick Perry accused Romney of vulture capitalism and wants Romney to release his income tax information to learn how he got his money. Romney answers that two TX plants were making the same product and one was closed; workers were offered jobs in the remaining one and some of the union members didn't want to go to the non-union shop. I believe in Free Markets.
Private equity guys and capitalists are not standing up to defend themselves. One writer calls it "near McCarthyism".
>>> There is a shortage of courage in those being attacked.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#15: Money does not lead to Happyness but can help you
>>> There are other examples I'll show you tomorrow.
Closing: Have a good evening and don't watch too much TV.

"The Rush Limbaugh Show" and "EIB, Excellence In Broadcasting".

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "The Dingy One"
Senate Majority Leader Dingy Harry Reid is the Democrats' third most powerful elected official -- if you count Joe Bite Me as No. 2. This past weekend, Reid went on NBC's "Meet the Depressed" to claim he understands "the frustration of the American people."
He used the rest of his appearance to rip into the Tea Party. Because those extremists in the Tea Party have so much power – according to Dingy Harry – Republicans are now practicing "obstructionism on steroids." For instance, Dingy Harry complains it took months to raise the debt ceiling. That used to be routine.
Reid says he hopes Republicans have "learned their lesson," and understand "everything doesn't have to be a fight." He hopes they realize that legislation is "the art of working together, building consensus," and "compromise." Harry Reid says he hopes the Tea Party won't have as much influence with Republicans next year because they've been "really bad for the country." He believes they are slowly "dying out" as the economy gets better.
Now, Dingy Harry is a tiny, little man. He is angry that he – and fellow Democrats – now have to jump through a few hoops to spend America into bankruptcy. He's angry that Congressional Republicans aren't grabbing the ankles every time Democrats snap their fingers.
The only thing greater than Dingy Harry Reid's visceral hatred of the Tea Party is his fear they'll win again in November -- and drive another stake in the heart of liberals like Harry Reid.

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"If the independents are everything in an election, then why didn't Jon Huntsman win in Iowa and New Hampshire?"
"When's last times you ever heard a liberal consultant tell his client not to attack his opponent 'cause it might tick off the independents? You notice there's only one group of people that gives this advice? Republicans! Republicans are the only people that tell their candidates, 'Don't attack the opposition. You can attack fellow Republicans.'"
"What's the difference between a cop and a soldier, really, when you get down to it? The glaring big difference is the soldier doesn't kick anything back to Obama, not unionized. The teachers, the police officers, and the firefighters, whether they want to be or not, are unionized."
"I have attempted to tell you, as often as possible, that the Republican Party problem with independents is directly traceable to the consultants and pollsters and probably many of the high-ranking elected officials as well, who believe that fully articulated conservatism scares the independents and will lead to landslide defeats, such as Barry Goldwater."
"If capitalism had been ruling the roost there would not be such a thing as a subprime mortgage."
"Capitalism's very simple! It's government that comes in and rigs the game, tries to make the impossible possible; when it doesn't work, then blames capitalism for it, then comes up with even more government programs to fix the original program that caused the problem!"
"I'll tell you, gotta love Perry 'cause he either knows what political correctness is and says, 'Screw it,' or he doesn't know."
"Do you think Harry Reid is really interested in Republicans doing the right thing? You think Harry Reid is really motivated by having the Republicans do well and elect people that will do well from the Republican point of view? Hell, no! Harry Reid is telling us they're scared to death of the Tea Party, and they're ticked off at 'em and that the Tea Party is the only thing stopping them from getting done what they want to get done."
"A guy like Huntsman supports gay rights, believes in manmade global warming, wants to surrender on the War on Terror and thinks we got a great relationship with the ChiComs, and 51% of his voters satisfied with Obama. Seventy percent of his voters describe themselves as moderate and liberals, and they tell us he's the most conservative."
"You know, any way you slice it, Tebow did pull off a miracle in the playoffs. Tim Tebow did. He had atheists praying to God that he would lose. So even that, you'd have to say, is a major, major achievement."
"When Fox brings Geraldo out somebody is dead, there's been an accident, or something with dire consequences has happened."
"I'm not like most people, you know, geared to the sick days, geared to the vacation days, when's the next day off, I don't think like that."
"If you haven't seen the Limbaugh Broadcast Museum, you really should. You should tour it. It's one of the greatest graphic creations in all of websitedom, a forerunner to what might be a bricks-and-mortar building one day. One never knows."

Quotable quotes from Fox News Channel:
"Republicans have an opportunity to put forth a budget of their own —they actually have economic plans, whereas this president doesn't! The only thing he has offered is a two-month payroll-cut extension. They've got to counter-punch here. No more dog-and-pony shows here, no more phony debt-ceiling that needs to be raised. "Andrea Tantaros, Daily News [She is very, very good and has a million-dollar smile.]
"The Fox team did a great job, and I loved the debate, the best one of all the Republican debates. The question for South Carolinians is 'who can go in and beat Obama?' . . . I don't know who is going to win. Mitt did a very competent job and didn't hurt himself; Newt showed us again why we like him; Rick [Perry] reminded us of why we respect him."

President Obama's unprecedented "recess" appointments, made when the Senate was not in recess, struck me as rather obviously illegal. It turns out that Obama got an opinion from his Justice Department justifying his move. Our friend Michael McConnell is as qualified as anyone to assess the adequacy of the DOJ opinion; he does so here: Today, January 12, 2012, the Administration released an Office of Legal Counsel opinion, dated January »

The White House is sending President Obama to a familiar place: the land of make-believe. He'll be at Disney World on Thursday to push for relaxing tourist visa requirements in the name of boosting the economy.
~~~ ~~~ ~~~
In case anyone needs reminding, it was the relentless drive of the tourism industry and kowtowing State Department bureaucrats that led to the Bush-era Visa Express program — which relaxed visa policies, eliminated in-person consulate interviews, and opened the door to the 9/11 hijackers.
Brazil, may I remind you, is just the latest base for al Qaeda and other Islamic jihadi groups; it "does not recognize Hizbollah or Hamas as terrorist groups and disbanded the Federal Police's anti-terrorism service in 2009."
Postscript: Some thoughts after the great South Carolina Republican debate.
First, those who thought there were too many debates scheduled are proven wrong. Those in South Carolina (and coming in Florida) are pleased to hear candidates. Next debates are Jan 19 (SC) and Jan 23, 26 (FL). Too many?
Second, Romney continues to roll and the reason is that he truly is a Conservative, sometimes not totally forward when judicious. He is strongly pro-Life from his office. He wants our USA Military to be unchallengeable. He wants Obamacare tossed out. Business and saving the American economy is his forte.
Third, Gingrich and Perry are good but those lingering on only help Romney.
