Your Rush ECHO for Monday 6-25-2012

Your Rush Limbaugh Echo for Monday, 6/25/12
Student NOTES from Institute juniors, not 'official'
Opening:   Silly? Save image by bending to Obama on AZ?
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1:  Supreme Court running for AZ protecting their own border, etc.
If you are going to skin alive Obamacare, give Obama a little on AZ.  There are 70 some-odd pages, striking down need to carry papers; warrantless arrests for deportable crimes; and employers checking legal status.  Kagan recused herself from the AZ immigration case.  These three provisions were not insignificant.

The fourth 'stop-and-check' when there is a violation is upheld for now but it can be challenged.  The Supreme Court invited litigation in this.  Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Kennedy joined the Liberals on the three aspects.

Most hysteria on the Left was on 'stop-and-check' and most people thought that was what this review was about.  The president lost on this point.  April 28, 2010, Obama got an AZ question  ((Clip-Obama:  This law that just passed in AZ is a poor law;  suddenly, you take your kid out to ice cream, you could be harassed and deported.))  So Obama lost the 'ice cream parlor' decision.

Even Wise Latino Sotomayor voted that Arizona could stop and check.

The court left wide-open the litigation on their ruling.  Someone could be stopped, challenge, and it would go back to the Ninth Circus. It is guesswork: it could come back to the Supreme Court.

Suppose President Barack Hussein Kardashian were driving and stopped in Kenya, would his passport be checked?

CNN ace legal beagle Jeffrey Tubin  was asked by John King ((Clip-beagle: The federal government asserted the Constitution, finding three to go against the government.  'Show-us-your-papers' was upheld.  It was a mixed verdict.))  All the DbM Liberals are trying to figure out to massage this for Obama and it will take a few days.

Snerdley, online I saw W-Post or someplace noteworthy that EIB is the model for CNN to return to their prior glory days.  There is a formula to go after Conservative Republicans in the HBO fantasy. A Moderate Republican ticked off at the Conservatives in his own party.

They sequestered Jerry Sandusky in the pervert wing of prison —
>   >   >  to welcome him, the inmates sang a song to him.
ED: Former Penn State [football] defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky will appeal
his convictions on numerous counts of child sexual abuse, his defense team says.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#2:     Corporations are actually composed people
From Pink Floyd  ((Parody:  We not need no crowd control;  etc; just leave them kids alone; Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone.  [Kids singing: we don't need no rules];  Etc.))  [ED: It was the actual the Pink Floyd recording, not a parody.]

Supreme Court reaffirmed its two-year old ruling for corporations to spend on candidate (free speech) in a 5-4 vote. Citizens United applies to state races also. So Super PACs were upheld, like in Montana.  Libs and unions could already spend whatever they wanted.  Saying the word 'corporations' to Libs and it is like showing Dracula the cross.
>>> Say, "corporations are just people" and they really flip out.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3:  Republicans need to get the word out on Obama deceit
In a townhall meeting, Obama was asked what his plans were for the undocumented who built this country before there was a USA.  Obama gave his ice cream parlor answer.  It is classic premedicated deceit.  Law enforcement can't go into an ice cream parlor and arrest Hispanics for no reason.

Politicians pander to the Hispanic vote; what do they want?  It's gotten to the point now that any move to uphold the law is thought to lose votes.  Are we no different from the Left?  What bothers me is the presumption that every Latino is for breaking the law—they are not.

I could be dead wrong—maybe all Hispanics believe in open borders.  I know Latinos, some close friends, and they are US citizens and uphold the law.

If standing for the rule of law is a penalty, then all is lost.  You can't just cherry-pick those that meet your whims.  We either pander to everybody, or to nobody—equally pandering under the law.

Obama is losing Independents in droves, Big Time.  Fast and Furious is worth repeating.  Some DbM pundit wrote that the Left would love another big scandal. What bigger scandal is there then giving guns to drug cartel leaders as the Obama Adm plan?  They can't get any support for gun control.  "My gosh, we've gotten to tighten up our gun laws."  The Regime didn't track the guns they sent over.

Another item:  "Register with Obama 2012 for your newly wedding presents.  Instead, donate to Obama."  Finding out, people will say, "They did what?"  Yes, www.TheObamaEventRegistry.com was put up Friday.  Birthdays, weddings, and coming soon put it in your will.

Somebody thinks this stuff is brilliant, and Barack or Michelle approved it.
>> >>  >>      Most people don't know this stuff.

_____________________________________________________________
S#4:  Sending AK-47s to drug leaders to kill our agents not a scandal?
They did that?  Yes they did: put up a gift website.  How about this, ask newlyweds to give up consummating and put energy into screwing Republicans.  Then "Don't leave money to your worthless kids, send $$ to Obama Campaign."

((Clip-Dana-Milbank's:  The Obama Adm was continuing what Bush started and that is why the general public is not interested.))  What an idiot!  Bush Adm wanted to track the guns and it ended in failure.  Obama Adm wanted guns used so they restarted the program and expanded it but didn't track the guns.

What about Porkulus?  What about giving GM to the unions?  What about Solyndra?  What about not drilling in the Gulf?  And the death of a border agent was not a scandal?
>>> Mr Milbank, how high is your criteria for a 'scandal'?

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#5:      Justice Scalia sided with Arizona
> "If securing its territories is not within the power of Arizona,
>>>  we should cease referring to it as a sovereign state."
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#6:  Only Republicans commit 'scandals', Democrats never do
(Theme Music) Starting a million conversations, doing the job America's 'watchdog' was supposed to do.  We have a new tee-shirt: Dittohead nation.

As another 'they-did-what?'  They will have no knives and forks (not even plastic) at Obama fundraisers.  You can send guns to drug cartels but not this.  At Disney, forks were collected before Obama took the stage.  "We are taking your plastic forks away after you eat."

Did you see the Hannity interview with Marco Rubio and his wife?  Rubio is really good, great things to come.  Rubio was on with Meet the Depressed.  ((Clip-Rubio:  I don't want to see a law like that in Florida.  AZ is not a model for all states.))

Anthony Scalia was in the minority to dissent.  David Gregory pressed on with Rubio.  ((Clip-Rubio:  As long as it is a political issue, it will be unresolved.  For some politicians, they want the issue unresolved.))  NRA Wayne LaPierre said Obama was comfortable with a certain level of violence because it provides an issue of gun control.

Same with discrimination and affirmative action, never intended to end.

"I've come to believe Bill Clinton wants a certain level of violence", LaPierre.

Abortion has never been an 80-20 proposition;  the majority of Americans has never opposed 2nd Amendment.  Rubio points the Left tries to rally Hispanics.  The State Dpt doesn't want to see no violence and no violations—that would leave them with nothing to do.

They don't want solutions — They want issues.

Dana Milbank sees no scandal in Fast and Furious.  I would almost offer a reward to explain exactly the crime in Watergate.  I would then compare the crimes in Fast and Furious.

"It's just sex; didn't affect Bill Clinton's job; we should defend him" said DbM.  Media fought against distractors.  The story was suppressed for two years.
>>> If it's Democrats doing it, it is never a 'scandal', by definition.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7:  With this weak showing, caller fears coming Obamacare ruling
Caller: Even with Kagan recusing, we couldn't even win this in AZ.
Oral arguments are very often meaningless.  UK Daily Mail "AZ Ruling Blow to Obama could hurt his reelection."  Scalia read his dissent in court.  He noted that Congress failed.  He is right that it boggles the mind:  all it was to do was to mirror the federal law.  Arizona contradicts the federal law by enforce it, he asks.  Chief Justice Roberts joined the Liberal side on this. I see reasons.

The cops can still call ICE when they pull somebody over for reasons.
Scalia is so right-on-the-money on this and it is disheartening.
>>>   >>>   Justice Scalia says that it boggles the mind!
KFI news: Obama says he is pleased,  . . .  but wants the other part also.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#8:       "I'm very good at what I do."
More from Scalia:  ((Reading: Approving the Ninth Circus denies Arizona [from being a state].)) States have rights and didn't infringe on central government, he is right.

So if there are laws on the books that are federal laws, and the federal government doesn't enforce them, you are stuck.

Caller:  Why would felons think to buy illegal AK-47s ?  Was he in on it?  Why did the felons not think they would be arrested in a sting operation?
It made sense to somebody.  Answers are apparent but people don't want to believe so they don't listen. The story of The Regime is it could never happen.

Caller-current-agent:  I'm staying to do the work.  Supreme Court just violated section 1304-e.  Illegals  "have to carry proof" is already on the books.
It is activism on the court.  I'm surprised Roberts voted as he did.  True, it makes no sense to not enforce laws on the books.  It has to make your job more dangerous.   [Caller refused promotion to 'stay out in the bushes'.  "I'm very good at what I do."]  I believe you are, thank you.

What would happen to you if your voice is recognized? [Fired]
Caller-still:  We are the closest thing to military there is.  [Fired at]
[Rush gifts him a MacBook Air and subscription for EIB podcasts.]
[[Caller is reluctant to accept, "You don't have to do that."  Rush answers that part of the fun is the ability to give gifts to others when you don't have to.]]
>>>  >>>   >>>   That's a true America defending your homeland.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#9:  So when will Feds start properly enforcing the AZ border?
Justice Scalia asks if states would have even enter the union in 1787 had this ruling been then.  Sovereignty was important then and now.

I know many think immigration and borders is a federal thing, but all Arizona did was address their huge problem.  The states have to pay for the new Democrat voters.  I have complete empathy for those that have to deal with it.

Caller:  Obama has more in common with illegals than with citizens.
Fascinating you mention that next we will be required to remove locks.  A well-known personality told me, "If they want to come to our country to better their lives, why not?"  Another said, "OK, what if one starts living in your backyard?"  He didn't answer because he live in NYC.
>>> Which pundit?  Take your pick—they are all blithering idiots!

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#10:  Rush feigns confusion over the obtuse court ruling for AZ
In all of this I'm still trying to figure out how Illegals can hold jobs in Arizona.
>>> I thought we were supposed to be suppressing illegal hiring.
_____________________________________________________________
Segment#11:   Is it about Obama or is it about Americans ?
(Music) We see Obama comes down on 'rule of man' rather than 'rule of law'. If Obama doesn't agree with a law, he will find a way around it.  Obama is instigating what Congress defeated.  Same with Defense of Marriage Act.  He is a dictator, "Walla, it no longer exits."  This is Obama.

Before AZ ruling came down, pundits were convinced that Obamacare was going down.  It's all about Obama in DbM ((reading-Politico:  This is all about who we are as a country.))  Politico is losing readership.  Will we be fined and imprisoned for what we won't buy?

If immigration law is not enforced, why should election law be enforced?  What if Obama decides he wants more than two terms? Well?  There is no way he would ignore the Constitution?  Will he continue to cherry-pick?

And what about us?  What if we disagree with drinking, speeding, etc.  We know what would happen to us.  The only consequence Obama faces is every four years at the ballot box.  Will we have private healthcare in five years?  Who will be the first to lose options per death panels?

What if we don't like paying IRS?  They come after us.  I'd be sitting by Sypes, Nicholas Cage to soon join him.  :-)   ;-)   The New York Times, Peter Baker ((reading: [citizens] slow to grasp the real meaning.  Oh, no!  What are Obama supporters going to do?  Nobody thought Obamacare could be unconstitutional.))  They never thought Conservatives on the court would be conservative.

Poor olde Obama and his supporters aren't ready for consequences.

CBS Jane Crawford Greenburg.  ((Clip-Jane:  No one agrees the humiliating defeat for Obama would be great for Romney either.))  What?  What?  What about the American people.  If Romney says he stands against socialized medicine, how is striking it down NOT a win for Romney?  It would be a day of celebration.

Go for it! Celebrate freedom.  Can these people really be this uninformed?

((Clip:  It will energize the Democrat base.))  Republicans will turn out in force because of the AZ decision.  I told you they would blame Republicans for taking your free healthcare away.  NYTimes Jeff Zellany ((reading: If the court strikes down the whole law, it will be a pit-stop for Obama.  It was his banner-issue.))
>> To supporting Drive-by Media, it is always about Obama-Kardashian.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#12:    Obama is in a deep hole — can he be reelected ?
New in Europe: if you get sick on vacation, you get to take another one.  I wonder how many people are going to get sick on vacation now.  Will that work here?

Heritage Foundation helps shape toward the founding father conversation.

Rasmussen reports that 22% believe things are working OK in USA.
>>> That 22% is the Obama base, most of the rest are against him.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13:  The Obama base appears to be only 22%
((Reading: Obama does not have enough in his base and needs the White working vote.))  Does that include 'White Hispanics'?  Yes.

Running for power, Obama/Michelle want to 'finish the job'.  Obama goes for the fringe groups and divides the country. Thomas B Edsel announced they would not go for the bitter-clingers.  Most Americans know about vacations of the Obama family, but most cannot identify his true religion ("Christian").  That's unprecedented.  49% of young votes grade down his performance.

Caller:  If you or I drive through AZ with a busted taillight we show registration when stopped.  What if you are Brown?
And a driver's license is a confirmation, usually. We'll pass it on.

Caller-IN: Our buddy does it again: Obama praises Egypt takeover.
It's more hideous than you know: xxx is from the Brotherhood.  The Arab Spring was supposed to be a breakout of democracy.  A Sharia Islamist bring no democracy.  He follows the course of Turkey over ten years, like Obama in USA.  He subverts efforts of Ataturk, who wanted moderation.

There is a step many miss:  Andy McCarthy writes.  Obama and Hillary are demanding that people get out of the way and hand over Egypt to the Egyptian military.

>>> This is complex but I'll give it a shot when I come back.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#14:  Big Sis immediately says to not cooperate/enforce
Janet Napolitano suspends working with Arizona cops, "Don't call."  Federal agents are to decline calls from border patrol and police.  Arizona is now an open border.  "Drop dead." Think about it:  Arizona can't do anything!

This election in Egypt takes more time to explain:  Mohammed Morsi said to students: "Koran is our Constitution, the prophets our leaders, Jihad is our path, and death in the name of Allah is our goal."  That's who Obama called and congratulated.  There is a lot more background that needs to be explained.
What should be the USA position?  Surrender power to Muslim Brotherhood?
>>>>>   We are telling the Egyptian military to surrender.
Rush will explain in greater detail tomorrow.

_____________________________________________________________
S#15: Hillary Rodham and Barack Kardashian support world Liberalism
> Hillary / Obama would not demand the Egyptian military stand down
>   >   >          had the Mubarak candidate won the election.
Closing:   See you tomorrow.

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Whine On!"
The fringe-kook left is disappointed in their hero, Barack Kardashian. You see, they think the reelection campaign is "flat." They want to see more attacks on Wall Street, more red meat, anti-capitalist, "Occupy"-type rhetoric.
Paul Sasso, a 47-year-old lib from San Diego, is one of the critics AP dug up. If Kardashian "really took on Wall Street big time -- if he told the story of how Wall Street are villains and made them the enemy -- we could take them down," says Sasso. "That could win him the election, I'm sure."
Another whack-nut from Seattle – a guy named Mark McDermott – accused Kardashian of cozying up to Wall Street. "We gave those banks billions of dollars. We didn't break them up! They're sitting on the money, and their profits are sky-high again, and we're supposed to be happy about this?"
This puts me in an uncomfortable position. I have to defend President Kardashian -- to his base!
Listen, kooks. Obama hasn't abandoned you! No president in our history, before Kardashian, has run against capitalism. Your guy is. And he's done his level-best to hurt business. He hates profits just as much – if not more – than you do, and puts every obstacle he can think of in the way of those profits. Like Obamacare.
Who do you think is behind the "Occupy" movement? Kardashian and his union buddies! Who laid into Bain Capital? Kardashian! If there's one man who despises American capitalism as much as you hardcore lefties do, it's Barack Hussein Kardashian.
You got to cut him some slack, don't ya?

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"Fast and Furious was an effort to build a case against the Second Amendment and American gun dealers."
"I'm cool. Everything is hunky-dory. If I told you anything other than that it would cause a national panic."
"If you want to spike the football next week if the ruling on health care goes our way, you go right ahead. If there is anything worth celebrating out there, it's liberty. If there's anything worth celebrating it's our freedom."
"There were two dormant years between Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious. Wide Receiver was a sting operation. There doesn't seem to be any plan for any kind of a sting in Fast and Furious, at least not against the gun smugglers."
"I'll tell you something else, folks, if I were Hispanic, you know what would really trouble me? To learn that the President of the United States had allowed assault weapons to be walked across the border to drug cartels and used to slaughter hundreds of Mexicans. If I were Hispanic, that would really tick me off."
"Last Friday they had the first-ever gay pride reception at the White House. A bunch of gay activists were there, obviously, a gay pride reception. A group from Philadelphia showed up, made a beeline for the portrait of Ronald Reagan and flipped him off."
"Whenever a rock star opens his mouth, you conclude that they're brain damaged just by virtue of listening to them speak."
"The media, they're going to circle the wagons and they're going to protect this president no matter what. It doesn't matter how much of their core beliefs they have to compromise, it doesn't matter."
"We have a one-party news media too busy remembering Watergate. They can't get over Watergate. They're all a bunch of Woodward and Bernsteins in the press corps, and they want to go back and relive Watergate 40 years ago."
"'This electorate has a white floor. And it has broken for this president. Democrats cannot depend on demographics to save them,' and that's what Obama is depending on. He's depending on a coalition of every fringe minority you can find out there."
"Obama invokes executive privilege and they start doing retrospectives on Nixon and Watergate 40 years ago, too busy to bother looking into the Obama regime cover-up of Fast and Furious."
"Fast and Furious is as bad as everything you have conjured it to be in your mind. Wide Receiver has nothing in common, other than guns crossing the border."
"Obama's avowed purpose is to strip this country's super-power status away from it. There are still a lot of people who can't get their arms around that."
"We recently launched a new page on the Two If By Tea website called The Hall of Patriots. Now, we know that all of you out there in the audience are true patriots, and we wanted a way to showcase you."
"'A desktop computer uses 20 times more power than an iPad.' And yet the environmentalist whackos are trying to zero in on the iPad as an environmental threat. And they're zeroing in on it simply because it's popular."
"I think it is right now much worse for the Democrats in the White House in their reelect effort than anybody (particularly in the Drive-By Media) wants to admit or recognize. But I think they're in full-fledged panic, and I think they're waiting with baited breath to see what happens with Obamacare next week."
"Work is how most people identify themselves. It's where they take their sense of identity. Most people don't like sitting around doing nothing. It's easy to think that most people do. It's easy to think it's a nation of slackers, but I don't think that we're there yet."
