Your Rush ECHO for Monday 6-4-2012

For Mitt Romney, Wisconsin Gov Scott Walker and America:
a BIG voting day tomorrow.   Lynnette and I will be helping.

Your Rush Limbaugh Echo for Monday, 6/4/12
Student NOTES from Institute sophomores, not 'official'
Opening:   Looks like slick-willy Clinton was taken to the woodshed.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1:  Yes, some Democrats see it is 'over' for BHObama
What is in that woodshed, anyway?  He endorsed Mitt Romney as a businessman.  Corey Booker was convinced to return to the plantation.  CNN Piers Morgan had a substitute Harvey Weinstein with no experience and gets a higher rating.  It could have been the guests: ((Clip-Clinton: Romney had a good business career.  I don't think we should criticize. Etc.))  Others defected from Obama.

Bob Schrum, who has never lead a winning campaign, also spoke, we have the sound-bites.  "If this is a referendum on Obama, it's over!"  And Bob Schieffer says, "Do you realize what you just said?"  They are going out of their way to defend private equity.

Tomorrow, a big concert for Queen Elizabeth II on the thrown for 60 years.  June 5th (tomorrow) will be my second wedding anniversary.  Sir Elton John sang at Kathryn and my wedding; he sings tomorrow for the queen, along with Paul McCartney.

Staff has a snarky comment:  "How much did the Queen have to pay?" [Rush probably paid a million dollars, because Kathryn wanted him to sing.]

((Clinton-again:  This is good work; Romney has been governor.))  The queen gave Elton John a knighthood—I didn't have to do that at our wedding.

I was one of the few that said Wm Jefferson Clinton endorsed Romney.  So on Saturday, Clinton spoke and was clearly irritated ((Clip: Because I didn't personally bash him, I woke up and found I was taken out of context and virtually endorsed Romney.))  There was nothing virtual about it: he endorsed Romney without using the word, 'endorse'.

((Clip-Rush-Friday:  These guys are still enamored by Obama.  I feel sorry for DbM.))  The employment numbers, revised, had come out.  ((Clip: Is time running out?  Things are way beyond his control.  EU and China are not his fault.))  David Brooks has no shame.  So why did the crease in his pants impress him before?

Speaking of Europe, Obama blamed our economic problems on Europe, while advising them to not reduce spending.  Same in China.

All the beltway-types are a twitter, buzzing on Obama.  Maureen Dowd almost mocks Barack Hussein Obama.
>>> I never knew she was a 'racist' until I read her NYTimes article.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#2:  You can thank a reporter for setting the record straight
The door is now open for a lot of high-profile democrats to criticize Obama, and a lot of them have.  The slavish unity was more a mandate to put up a unified front.  Many are extremely worried about their electability in November. Sad, but true, it is for our side to now recognize we could win.

Once these flood gates open, one top Democrat does it and gets away with it, surviving the woodshed, watch for Tsunami.  Democrats are pulling out all of the stops in Wisconsin for Barrett.  They start a rumor that Scott Walker fathered an illegitimate child 25 years ago.  The rumor that GWBush had a DUI hurt him.

A girlfriend said she knows another girl when they were students at Marquette.  A reporter tracked it down, Bernadette Gillick and she says it is not true.  Scott Allen Walker is not Governor Scott Kevin Walker.

Democrat polling groups say the race it tightening when it is not.
>>> You would expect Democrat polling groups to mislead.
They are desperate to start the illegitimate child rumor.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3:  Much is at stake for union Democrats in Wisconsin tomorrow
Scott Walker's lead is not within the 'margin of error';  Reuters makes it up.

Some are calculating where the campaign money is coming from, inside or outside Wisconsin.  The viewer is supposed to imply that outside forces tamper with this election.  It doesn't matter and money pours in for many elections. Scott Walker got more votes, unopposed, then the two Democrats.

So much is at stake for unions and Democrats in WI. Best question of all: Is it a referendum on the popularity of Obama?  Why will he not help pull that election out for Barrett?  Why not send the beloved POTUS in there?

No, they sent Bill Clinton in (who had endorsed Romney).  The whole template now is that nothing is Obama's fault and we now feel sorry for the First Black President.  We were going to have unity, economy up, unemployment down, the world loving us.  He was messianic, but now is 'having no fun'.  What a total plunge.

Fewer than 1,000 turned up for Godfather Clinton speaking for Barrett.  There was a lot of pre-publicity for his rally, didn't work.  Only 1,000.
 > Maybe they would have turned out if he was rumored to be the father.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#4:  There is a constant and ongoing need for political education
Caller: If Walker wins, DbM/Democrats/unions will attack even more.
When this recall started they bused in 50,000 and some rallies even had 100,000.  Now they have 1,000 in Clinton's rally.

Caller: They brought this election on themselves.  It is telling.
39% is outside money for Barrett;  and 38% outside for Walker.  It is a battleground state.  I live in Literalville, a suburb of Realville.  Scott Walker hasn't laid anybody off;  he hasn't raised taxes; reduced the budget; unemployment is less than the national average:  every indicator is good for Governor Scott Walker.

What population of USA is GAY?  2-3%, much less than 10%.  Polling shows that many Americans think it is 25%.  Why?  The answer is TV/media.  The same thing about murder.  Every drama show is about crimes, and you ask in a poll and those that know someone murdered is near zero.

I remember using this argument during the Clinton Era, and you can remember the Clintons know a lot of people who were murdered.   Point is that "Heather Has Two Mommies" is influencing thinking in public school.

People in WI know full well that the policies of Scott Walker are working because they are living them may not be a valid argument.  History was revised with a constant bashing of Reagan.  People were convinced that what they were living, wasn't.
>>>    People in media are telling you it is all Bush's fault,
>>> not Obama's.  And policies of Gov Walker aren't working.
Rush Limbaugh reminds of the apathy after victory. Continue the message.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#5:  Look for Scott Walker to win the election tomorrow
People will be 'shocked'.  I know there is excitement in Wisconsin.
>>> Democrats do not live in reality with the WI election Tuesday.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#6:  Let's keep the rugged individualism of America
(Theme Music) The attempt is to make it appear that Gov Walker is not liked by the people in Wisconsin. When the rallies for recall began, they were 60,000 strong, bussed in from California unions.  They were violent at the capitol.

Look at all the union money;  Democrats are setting up excuses for losing.

Polling shows that people have no idea of how few GAYs and Lesbians there are.  Get this, more than a third surveyed think 25% are [homosexual], with women and young adults believing it the most.  Media is succeeding.

Do we want to redo cultural norms for 2%;  no.  But for 25%, maybe.

Anybody that lived through the 1980s as an adult should never ever vote Democrat again.  But they do because media rewrites Reagan history.  Even with that, Democrats lose many national elections.  Democrats have convinced themselves they are on the verge of winning in Wisconsin.  They always underestimate Republican enthusiasm.  They are unprepared for the shock coming to them.

From Columbus Ohio:  Lending a helping hand was more important than winning the track race championship for Megan Vogel.  She was running the 1,600 meters and won going away.  At the end of a later race, a competitor collapsed and Megan stopped and helped her up and across the finish line.

James Pierson questions movements of the world coming.  "On the possibility of a forthcoming political revolution."  Is it the decline of our Culture with the decline of rules of 'manliness'?

Back in the late 1980s, HS and JrHS teams were so good they were penalized before the game began; and that scoring was forgotten;  it wasn't fair to be the best.  Why laud it over them?  Everyone got a trophy. Kids kept score anyway.  Well-intentioned Liberalism was not reflecting human nature. Stop winning?  Everybody just plays?  This is what James Pierson is talking about.
>>> Connect the dots with Megan Vogel.
From the Pierson article, "Conservatives, in fact, have done something altogether different: they have created their own newspapers, magazines, think tanks and research institutes, and colleges and schools to circulate their ideas."

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7:  Most of the modest job growth has been with part-time jobs
Recall that 69,000 jobs were added last month;  we lost 49,000 jobs that were not reported until 'revised'.  Now we learn that most of the 69,000 May jobs part-time jobs according to Zero Hedge.  It is the largest part-time in history.
>>> They are not career jobs and have no health benefits.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#8:  Union seminar caller helps Rush Limbaugh look good
With Bush, DbM called them 'hamburger-flipper jobs' but not now.

Tiger Woods won in Ohio.  He played will and won.  Did Sabatini flub up to let Woods win?  This is hypothetical: what if we were to learn the leaders just wanted Tiger to feel good?  Everybody wants Tiger to be happy again.  Viewership, sponsorship increases.

Snerdley says it would never happen, they are too competitive.

I'm just asking.  Would Rorrie Sabatini become a Twitter hero?  "We are going to give you championship money even though you didn't win.  You exhibited championship unselfishness, for the benefit of golf in general."   It's not out of reality and happens.  Would you applaud in this case with Tiger Woods?

Caller:  Will you become a positive influence on public policy?
I thought I was, each and every day.  [Seminar Caller]  You are a smart union guy and know what I meant.   Obama has not failed in his intent.

My comments on people making this country great have been consistent:
Reagan and Bush removed obstacles; and
>>> Obama has put in regulations and obstacles.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#9:     Truth    .!.
Caller wants a positive influence on public policy.  What could be more positive than the Truth?  All I do is point out the lies of the American Left.  That is why I am such a target.  Recession was Bush's fault but presidents have no control over the economy?  How does that work?

You, in this audience, are the people that make America work;   and you either have obstacles placed in your way, or you have Reagan and Bush taking them away.

Then, there was the monitoring of terrorist phone calls going and coming overseas.  Now NSA wants to tap phone calls over water in America.

Caller: Romney stays focused on Obama and no jobs.
I remember Sununu correcting Soledad O'Brien with her 'birther' question.  You like the rapid-response of the Romney Team.  Obama is running the first campaign against Capitalism, and Romney agreed.
>>> And Romney didn't throw Trump under the bus on citizenship.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#10:  ED: California, NJ, NM, and SD vote tomorrow (for Romney)
Trump gets snookered on CNN to talk about citizenship of Obama.
DbM wants Romney to denounce it;  McCain would have. Romney didn't.
>>> A couple of things have come up with Romney campaign.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#11: Questions about how conservative the Romney team will be
(Music) Factual?  I did submit a WSJ stimulus proposal, working together.  Obama wanted to spend $1TRILLION stimulus.  It didn't work.  Obama won 53% to 47% so I proposed to split between Obama and me to see which would give most growth.

W-Post Byron York:  "Obama wants McCain back to run against again." John McCain believed in Climate Change, Immigration Change, and Campaign Finance Reform.  Obama wants someone who will cave, not Romney.

Six months ago, Wisconsin was their blueprint for Obama in Nov.  If he is so loved, why didn't he go help Barrett.  Everybody that Obama or Clinton endorses, loses.

I am duty-bound to report National Review Online:  Mike Levitt of Utah will be on the Romney team, and is a huge supporter of state healthcare and does not want some of Obamacare removed.  ((Reading))

Transition is from winning to the presidency.  Romney has not wavered from tossing Obamacare.

Another item: Glen Hubbard seems to channel Obama on taxing the rich, and is on the Romney transition team.

Republican elite Moderates want compromise to show Independents.  Some want kids on the policies until they are 26 and not test for pre-conditions.

The Romney ads are great;   Obama is running around campaigning; yet is blaming Congress.  Boehner should have an ad at Obama's office,
>>> "We want to work together, where is he?"

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#12:  Can Romney Team agree to win on Conservatism?
Romney team says 'repeal and replace' with room for mischief.  Leavitt has made tons of money setting up new ways.  Is he the tip of the iceberg?  What we do know is that Republicans have spines of linguini when it comes to going against those that want massive state healthcare.  Independents love it?

That's why they say, "repeal and replace".  I'm just warning you.
It's not going to be pretty in October.  There are others like Leavitt.

Glenn Hubbard is another thing.  Why does he advocate taxes on the rich?  He helped with Bush tax cuts.  What does he really believe?  Check it out.

'Smishing' is the latest in getting your money: "Click for your prize."  [Ad]

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13:  Use ocean salt, not rock salt with grains of sand
How many of you believe that eating too much salt is bad for you.  It is not!  I am beginning to see Agenda-Driven-Liberalism.  On Saturday, The New York Times says, "Salt, we misjudged you."  ((Reading:  People eating salt at the lower level are more likely to have heart disease and obesity than those in the middle. Etc.))  You can do damage to yourself by eating too little salt, more damage than if you eat too much salt. Egg, butter, and coconut oil, oat bran, all were supposed to kill you.

Every supposed stated fact turns out to be a myth.

Liberals dominate with guilt and fear:  "I can save you from salt."  Nobody wants to die, and myths become conventional wisdom, just like Global Warming.  The author has been trying to write about salt for years and was attacked.  Now we have Big Salt and will Big Pepper be far behind?  It is all about power over your lives.

Have you seen how many in DbM agree with Bloomberg on Big Gulp?  It is even in the sports media, praising Doomberg for saying what needs to be said.  It is nobody's business, coated in lies.
>>> Where does Salt go to get its reputation back?

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#14:     Do you watch your salt intake?
I don't watch my salt intake and measure fine; follow not conventional wisdom.  ((Reading: Evidence was flimsy with salt causing high blood pressure.  It had plausibility, to maintain more water, making your thirsty.  It raised blood pressure until your kidneys reduced the water and the salt.  You need salt to be healthy.))

Believe this, I kid you not:  You could be fined $1,000 in NJ if your pet is not restrained or wearing a seatbelt.  PA reports it.  How do you do that?  How is it even possible?

John Hancock, 56 men signed a document, not George Washington.  The last of their words, "with a firm reliance on Divine Providence, we pledge our honor, our fortunes, and our llves."  This 4th of July, take a proud moment and read it.  Read it out-loud to those you celebrate with it. Also, sign in with Hillsdale College.  Dress in country colors and fly the flag.  www.RushToHillsdale.com   You will not be wasting the holiday.

Caller:  The best man or woman should get the job. Like the track event.
Neither of these HS girls were going to win.  Yet, be competitive.  Others will eat you up, chewed up, and spit out if you are not prepared to be competitive.
>>> You can't legislate competitiveness away—part of human nature.

Seg#15:  See you tomorrow to talk more about track and girls.

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Holder Redux"
Last week I dissected Attorney General Eric Holder's racially charged accusations. He told the Council of Black Churches that America is slipping back into Jim Crow days due to new Voter ID laws. "Some of the achievements that defined the civil rights movement now hang in the balance," he said implying there's a national conspiracy to deny minorities the vote.
In response, the Wall Street Journal sarcastically noted that the landmark 2008 6-3 Supreme Court decision upholding Indiana's Voter ID law was written "by that noted right-winger John Paul Stevens." For those of you in Rio Linda, former Justice Stevens is a huge lib.
The Journal also reports that black voter turnout in Georgia and Indiana actually increased after voter ID laws were enacted. Not small increases. In Georgia, black turnout was up 42 percent; Latino turnout was up 140 percent. (They don't say whether that includes White Hispanics.)
As I told you on my radio program, Obama's Democrats are trying to gin up the black vote this time, with fear. They're worried, and The Wall Street Journal confirms why. Hispanic voter registration is down 5 percent since last election, and down even more in key swing states. Black registration has also fallen sharply.
Majorities of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans support voter ID laws. The problem is, in close elections the Democrat Party depends on a system where their constituents can vote early, often, and dead. Eric Holder isn't trying to protect the rule of law, he's trying to undermine it!

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"Obama's already-passed legislation will begin to take even more out of the private sector. When you raise taxes, when you increase regulations, you take money out of the private sector. And more of that is on tap. This is as good as it gets with Obama."
"If the labor force participation rate was the same today as it was when Obama took office, the unemployment rate would have been reported today as 10.9%. It would be 10.9% if the same number of people were in the job market today as when Obama was inaugurated."
"We have a president who is running against capitalism. We have a president whose campaign is based on running against what made America great."
"Obama's attacks on capitalism have become so dangerously absurd that the Democrats who are giving Romney and Bain Capital high praise full well understand what's going on."
"The number one line of attack from the regime is being rejected by prominent Democrat governors all over this country. Bill Clinton is the latest. Cory Booker, Newark mayor, Lanny Davis, Deval Patrick. We have a president who has isolated himself from his party, isolated himself from free markets."
"Barack Obama has created $5 trillion in new debt to create an absolute economic mess. And as Romney says, he gets an F, it's a failure, it isn't working. A government centered society fails every time it's tried."
"We've had three-and-a-half years of Obamaism. We haven't had any real growth in anything, other than bad news."
"Our country needs new leadership."
"There is no evidence out there anywhere that anything other than this jobs number could be true. So I just want to have it on record, I, El Rushbo, am not surprised, but it does depress me."
"I've never seen a bunch of blinder bats than the current national White House Washington press corps. You could argue what it is that's blinding them, but nevertheless, they are."
"The only war that Obama's winning is the war on the economy. It's probably the only war that he feels strongly about."
"Obama's out in Minnesota right now, one of his six fundraisers today, very near Wisconsin, blaming Congress for the lack of jobs. Congress hasn't done enough. And he said, 'We can't come out of this overnight.' Overnight? For crying out loud, you've told us for the past two years that we have come out of it. For the past two years, Mr. President, you've told us we are on the rebound. Now it's Congress' fault?"
"We're three-and-a-half years now into the Obama administration, and the idea that any of this is lingering from George W. Bush is absurd."
"Even Democrat websites today, even the MSNBCs and the CNNs, they're not blaming Bush today. They are so low when they look up they see the gutter."
"I got a suggestion, Steny Hoyer, Chris Van Hollen, all the rest of you, let's just cut to the chase, just blame George Washington. He started it all. He's the first president. Blame it on him. Or, if you want, blame it on Lincoln. Or go back and blame it on Nixon. What a bunch of gutless wonders."
"Nothing in the last 3-1/2 years that's happened is how you build a party, folks. There's no party-building going on, and the polling data -- and these people live and die by it. The numbers of people that self-identify as conservatives and Republicans is overwhelmingly atop Democrats who self-identify as Democrats."
"The Democrats and the truth are strangers. The Democrats normally can't use the truth. The truth about what they are and what they want to do would kill them, as evidenced by this."
"The only time I can recall in many years prominent Democrats defending capitalism is in the context of endorsing the Republican nominee while undermining their president's primary reelection strategy. Once you admit one truth, others are likely to follow. And the truth will doom the Democrat Party."
"If Barack Obama causes a worldwide depression, the Democrat Party is not goanna survive it. And the Bill Clintons will be forgotten, footnotes in history. The Democrat Party will be in the ash heap of history if this guy is allowed to do what he wants to do. It isn't Bush. It's not Reagan. It's not any of Obama's enemies. Barack Obama is the one that put us on this path, and he's driving the car, he's got the keys, and he's got the pedal to the metal."

Michael Barone's Examiner column linked in our "Picks" section today about immigration brings to mind some old controversies.  Michael concludes: My prediction is that we won't ever again see the heavy Latin immigration we saw between 1983 and 2007, which averaged 300,000 legal immigrants and perhaps as many illegals annually. Mexican and other Latin birth rates fell more than two decades ago. And Mexico, the source of 60 percent of »

However, BuzzFeed also found that 87% of the people who gave $200 — the sum that triggers an itemized report to the Federal Elections Commission — through »
