Your Rush ECHO for Friday 8-10-2012

Your Rush Limbaugh Echo for Friday, 8/10/12
Student NOTES from Institute freshmen, not 'official'
Opening:   Things you only dream of mentioning . . .
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#1:  Barack Hussein Obama lies—to encourage another Stimulus
. . .   now possible on Open-Line Friday; a great risk for the EIB host.  I am a benevolent dictator and there is no First Amendment, except on Friday. For the first 20 minutes, Snerdley just answers and hangs up, answers and hangs up, until people have heard what I say and want to respond.  Steelers lost to Eagles last night?  BFD.  The Charges game had the first female ref.

One gal doesn't like women boxing at the Olympics, "women were not meant to be combative."  ((Reading: Women are life givers, not life takers.  Female murder rate is 10% of the men's.  Claressa Shields wins the boxing gold for USA.))  Chavez wants to take us back to the 1950s, just like Romney.

Rick Santorum wrote the Clinton welfare reform that Obama is now gutting.  And BHObama wants to give Stimulus to save other industries like he did GM and Chrysler.  Bond holders rank higher than stock holders in bankruptcy or restructuring.  They just wanted their investment back, and Obama said, "Take a hike" and gave the companies to the union.

((Clip April 28,2009:  That is his purpose.))  Just after I said, "I hope he fails."  ((Clip-Obama:  I want to do the same thing in every industry now that GM is #1.))  They are not No.One and that is a blatant lie.

"You didn't build that; roads and bridges did" is now gone;  so we bring it up.  Does he include the oil industry?  Does Obama want to take over Apple?
>>> If he does he will kill it and that will be the end of Apple.

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#2:    Arrogance lets Obama tell us his true ideology
Watch and see if anybody on our side takes the words of Obama seriously: he wants to do to all companies and industries what he did to GM, take them over.  He wants to take over every industry and manufacturing!  He means what he says.

Anybody who takes him seriously will be mocked and ridiculed.

This is a made-to-order campaign issue!  Look at the ideas of people; their ideology tells you all you need to know about politicians.   Explain Liberalism to beat them.  We know who Obama is and what he has done in 3.5 years.  He is not the unique messiah people voted for.  Romney campaign can capitalize on Obama's ideology !!!

How many years have I been talking about this?  Put this with "You didn't build that!"
>>> It is a great Romney opportunity if they put it together correctly.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#3:  Rush takes us on a walk down Realville's Memory Ln
January 2011, the General Motors stock was worth $39; now it is $20/share.
They owe taxpayers $40billion.  We haven't been paid for the bailout yet.  Obama and his union buddies want to do this to every industry?

TARP was promised to save our banking industry.  It turned into a slush fund.  We are now told that another bank crisis is just around the corner, big trouble again. Is it a setup, again?

OBAMACARE will regulate people and small business out of business.  Barack Obama and Liberal Democrats wreck an industry and then offer to help take it over.  Obama promises that every industry he crushes can be nationalized.  Private sector healthcare will be gone (under Obama) in three years, starting in 2014.

COAL INDUSTRY has a target on it.   "You can build it but it will be taxed to death", Obama promised even before elected.  We are watching his destruction.

OIL AND GASOLINE.   Obama puts a moratorium on refineries and oil exploration.

ELECTRICITY.   We have problems with our grid.  650million people in India were out of power, they need more.   California tells citizens they have problems this week, turn your air-conditioners down.

>>> What do you mean, "We won't stand for it"?  Who is standing up?
65% of our people don't want Obamacare; can someone shout out for them?

_____________________________________________________________
Segment#4:     Is another 'collapse' planned?
Regulators of The Regime tell banks to make plans if they collapse and need a bailout.  Why would they warn them to be ready NOW?  ((Reading: Make plans to sell off segments; minimize risk.))  Banking in the private sector won't be bailed out.

Every bank will be portrayed as being run by an evil Romney-type guy.

This is another threat.  The idiots that threw in with Obama are OK?  He wants to run everything — nationalize [remembering Maxine Waters.]

Caller: Why are not callers calling in to defend Obama?  Are there none?
We always put Liberals at the front of the line; Snerdley says there are none.  Even if they trick Snerdley they know it is hopeless here.  Maybe they think it is not necessary.  Even when they were calling, they would never defend Clinton or JFKerry (who served in Vietnam) they would only rip me.

Without getting into their IQs, there are people that believe Obama.  They are on TV all the time.  Who wants to call here and be made to look like an idiot?  I wouldn't.
>>>   Defend the record and ideology of Obama is a mission impossible.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#5:  I live and broadcast from Realville!
Liberals live in a fantasy world—a bubble cocoon.
>>   >>   >>   Calling here blows that up.
_____________________________________________________________
Seg#6:  Does anyone (besides present company) know BHObama?
(Theme Music) From The NYTimes, the Democrats have outlined their convention plans.  Obama thought Romney would pick Petraeus.  Atlanta J. predicts Pawlenty.  Paul Ryan proposed a serious budget and some think he can't on the ticket because he would be a bullseye because of Obamacare.

Republican convention is Aug 27-30 and Democrats take the DbM attention when they meet in the first part of September.  Here we are in the middle of destruction of America, and Obama want to say Romney would destroy America.  They want to burnish Obama's life-story as fighting.

What is the life story of Obama?  Does anybody know?  How has he fought for the middleclass?  They also will have prominent GOP women on one or two of the nights?  Who will that be?  The 'titular head of the Republican Party' General Collin Powell.  Michelle will tell us what his 'North star' is.  His daughters will be featured.  They will interview regular people.

And who will be the notable Republican woman?  Olympia Snow?

((Attack ad:  Romney had a large 'son-of-boss' tax scheme.))
It was legal but it didn't look good.  We'll explain it.
>>> It will be part of their 'Romney didn't pay taxes' strategy/scheme.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#7:  , 'We haven't drudged it up, yet; like Jeremiah Wright.'
Caller: I worked for NBC News and you signed my book.  Obama team is upset over the Romney ad because it goes right to the Obama perceived strength, "fairness".  Voters do not want to hear that people are sitting around for welfare.
Except!  Those are the people in Obama's target audience.

Obama appeals to the vote of the slackers.  All Obama talks about is penalizing the rich;  he says nothing about the White working-class.  He writes them off.  Hence the smear campaign against Romney.  Clearly The Regime is upset with the Romney ad  ((Clip:  In 1996, Clinton and a bipartisan Congress put in a work requirement and cut welfare rolls in half;  now, Obama tosses the work requirement with an executive order.  Mitt Romney would bring back the work requirement.))

The caller's point is that Obama wants to support the middleclass, but nowhere does Obama say that. Why is Obama and team upset?  ((Clip:  I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message:  Have you seen Romney's ad?  W-Post says it is false;  [their fact];  Bill Clinton says it is just not true.))  They are going nuts and say they have not removed the work requirement.  Which is it?

"Your ad is a race to the bottom."   ((Clip:  We should agree to talk about issues and not personal attacks.  We haven't drudged up the stuff talked about the last time around.))  Hmmm.  Is Romney asking for credit on that?

Mr Snerdley is going bonkers in there:  is there a threat in there, "We haven't drudged it up, yet; like Jeremiah Wright."   [Let the SuperPACs weigh in.]  You didn't have any problem going personal with Bachmann, Santorum, Gingrich.

Why not 'go personal' with Barack Hussein Obama?  We all know the reason:
>>>>>      Race.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#8:  Democrats want a permanent Democrat-voting underclass
Obama and The Regime tried to gut the work requirement quietly and that didn't work.  Liberals hated the work requirement from the day Clinton signed it.  Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton wanted Clinton to promise he would revert back.  "The more slothful people are, the better; for gov't to take care of them and vote Democrat[ic]."

Obama is trying to suppress the White-working-class voters and Romney has an ad telling the truth, and Obama wants to depress his own campaign strategy by gutting the work requirement now?  Obama has undercut his own strategy.  ((ad again))  It is low-key, chockfull of the truth, and that has The Regime upset.

Do you assume The Regime are always two steps ahead of us and are the smartest in the room.  So why did Obama gut the welfare reform?  You could say it was Obama's ideology.  That is a good answer.

They have had to made the calculation that sluffers would vote for Obama.
And it shows that telling the truth gets them upset.

Heritage Foundation, Robert Rector, reports about poverty in different nations.  He was involved in writing the work requirements into welfare reform.
>>> Robert Rector on FoxNews says that Obama has gutted work req.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#9:  Tie this current economy around the neck of Obama !
((Clip-Rector:  I have happen to have written most of the work requirements.  They are mostly gone;  the entire core of reform is gone.))  He notes the action is illegal.  Judy says, "but as I understand it, it allows states to have more to say."  ((Clip-Rector:  It invalidates the work requirement, and they will replace it with something not worked out in Congress.))

Section 401 is gone!  Judy Woodruff presses on  ((Clip-Rector:  We spent $927billion and only three had work requirements, to 1/3 of the nation.))  80 programs create redundancy, piled on top of each other to fix the prior pork barrel.  For 100million we average over $9,000/recipient.  This amounts to greater than the GDP of many nations.  It is politics.

So how does The Regime fix shooting themselves in the foot?  ((Clip-Trumka:  When it comes to working people, there is no contest.  Obama is for us and Romney is for the rich.  He doesn't care to understand us.))  It's all bogus.

>>> Enforce to them this point:  It is Obama's economy!

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#11: Negative ads work very well, especially when they are true
(Music) Gallop Poll has Obama down and Fox poll has him up.   They use 9% more Democrats than Republicans in their polls.  In none of the polls does Obama get over 50%.  When will they move from voters to likely voters?

Whatever the 'over-sample' is turns out to be the Obama lead, last month it was 4% and now it is 9%.  So calling Romney a tax-cheat, a felon, and a murderer didn't turn off the Independents and leaning Democrats?  Are they must stupid?

Who saw to it that Republicans can't run negative ads?

It is way out of whack.  43% approval for Obama and 51% disapproval of Obama shows Obama is ahead?  They try to shape public opinion with push-poll garbage.  ((Reading:  Top reasons given to not supporting Romney are:  he is out of touch;  is for the rich;   switches.))  That is what Obama hammers.

This race ought not even be close!  Given what he has done to this country, Obama should be at 33%.  What about his actual effect on human lives?

Romney fires back at the 'murder' ad.   ((Clip:  What does it say about a president when he uses the death of a wife for political purposes?))  It is full of pictures, editorial, etc.  They quote media on the attack ad.
>> >>  >>    So that's the response of the Romney team.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#12:  What is the singular principle that unites Republicans?
Caller: Why don't SuperPACs do better?  Why bring in Romneycare?
You mean the aide responding to the murder ad?  Washington Examiner Byron York asked me.  Why accept the premise?

Democrats rally around Reid and Blabber-mouth gaffes.  "Why don't we?" And the answer is that Democrats are unified in beating us.  We are a bigger enemy to them than any terrorist attack on this country.

They figure if they wipe Conservatives out, there is no stopping them.  That is not what animates the Republican Party.  The Conservative side has the objective to wipe out Liberalism, but the blue-blood side [stands with them often].  That is why the Republican Party is divided.  We conservatives think we have leadership that don't know what they are doing.  We try to steer them.

The Democrat Party is made up of fractions, but they have a common objective to get rid of us.  We are missing that 'killer instinct'.   Why don't Republicans do this or that?  I don't know!   If I were running the GOP, we would.

Picking the right VP is not going to win the battle.  I don't get caught up in the minutia.
>>> We don't have a singular reason on the Right for existing.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#13:  Obama is an ideologue ruining America on purpose
Charles Krauthammer urges Romney to attack Obama, not just policy.  He wants Romney to run against his ideas.  $5TRILLION added debt.  ((Reading: "You didn't build that" can be attacked.  It is ideology not policy.)) This makes my day!  ((Reading on:  It is also explanatory.))  Yes!  Finally, after years.

It was Obama's ideology that lead me to say, "I hope he fails."  Snerdley thinks people were afraid to talk about his ideology, because then you have to talk about where he got it.  [See the movie, 2016: Obama's America .!.]

Even members of the Republican Party leadership don't like Conservatives.  This is a Hosanna moment!  ((Reading:  It will cost $1.6TRILLION  of new spending.  Obamacare will sideline private industry;  the third part was his war on energy.  Etc.  A drilling moratorium judged illegal.   Obamacare got two lines in the State of the Union Address.))  Right, he would have used that instead of "Romney killed my wife."  He is a sitting duck and ideology will bring him down in a landslide.

Obama is an ideologue and he is ruining America on purpose.  Will the article of Charles Krauthammer get traction and take off?  It still comes down to if Romney will get to it?  Will he say instead, 'Obama is just in over his head'?

Snerdley you are right:  they were, and still are, afraid to go after the ideology of Obama.  The Regime people get up every day and give thanks to such strategists on our side.
>>> Ideology should be the main attack point against Obama.

_____________________________________________________________
Seg#14:  Where are the SuperPACs to attack Obama's Marxism?
I have been begging Romney to do this since he became the front-runner in the Primaries.  Newt Gingrich got standing ovations when he explained the Conservative concept of work: "We want people to own the business."  He went 'ideological' and talked about ideas.

The person with the best ideas win elections;
not the one that has the dirtiest campaign —
Just be able to explain Conservatism clearly!
Some of these concepts didn't make it into the Byron York article.
>>>>> Mitt Romney can have some people to explain concepts clearly.
ED: Don't SuperPACs do this?     [Caller talks about Two-if-by-Tea, and NFL.]

From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "The Pelosi Spirit"
The other day I told you about Nancy Pelosi's trip to West Palm Beach. The poor woman was rambling on about Republicans being "the E. coli Club" wanting to sicken kids after getting rid of police and firemen. I speculated the Florida sun might've been too much for the ex-Speaker.
Apparently, the problem goes deeper than any of us realized. A video was just posted to YouTube of Pelosi speaking at a Women's Political Committee gathering in May. She is recalling her first visit to the White House as Speaker, after W. was elected; Bush 43 was welcoming her. Pelosi says Bush started fading, and "this other thing was happening" to her.
Her chair she says "was getting crowded in." She realized that Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Stanton, Sojourner Truth, Alice Paul, "you name it, they were all in that chair." And they said to Nancy: "At last we have a seat at the table." Then, poof, they were gone.
Nancy Pelosi, poor thing, swears this really happened. Must be a Democrat woman thing. Hillary Clinton said Eleanor Roosevelt's spirit used to talk with her when she was in the White House.
Look. I don't want to make too big a deal about Nancy's obviously fragile condition. But after the spirits took her chair and said they had a seat at the table I just want to know if they also told her to head to the kitchen and get crackin' on the dishes?
Hey, it could happen!

Quote Gems from Rush Limbaugh dot com:
"The purpose of the ad is not really to say that people died when Mitt Romney got into their lives. The purpose of the ad is to make Mitt Romney look like an absolutely reprehensible, horrible human being."
"We've got the truth on our side, and that's Obama's economic record. We've got the truth. All we have to do is be unafraid to say it."
"The left is unified in a singular objective and that's beating us. Forever and always, every day. We are their number one enemy."
"I ask myself daily if the Republican establishment really understands what we're up against here. And I ask myself every day: Do they understand this is not just the usual politics of the day? And some days I answer that in a way I like and other days I'm not convinced that they do."
"If they're going to run an ad saying Romney killed someone's wife, why wouldn't Ann Romney go out and kill horses that lose races? What's to stop them? That's all they've got, folks. It's all they've got."
"What the left cares about is what people think of Romney. And that's what they're attempting to do is create a caricature of Mitt Romney as a rich, insensitive guy who doesn't care about what happens to anybody but himself."
"A new ad running here in South Florida depicts Allen West, an African-American Republican, in a boxing ring wearing red boxing gloves. So they've got Allen West beating up an old woman, stealing money from a middle class family, and whacking a young woman. It's sort of like the Paul Ryan ad shoving a grandmother in a wheelchair over a cliff. This is all they've got, folks."
"Barack Obama is a job killer, and every bit of that is true."
"They have an incompetent, contemptuous disaster of a president they've got to get reelected. And they care as much about staying in power themselves as they do about keeping Obama in the White House."
"Did you know that there was a vibrator permit that you could get in New York City? Well, apparently there is. Are they giving away vibrators at the Olympics? They're giving away condoms left and right."
"What do you do with somebody who blatantly lies? What do you do? What did you do in high school when somebody blatantly lied? What do you do when your boss blatantly lies? I got fired once for calling a guy on it. I worked for a congenital, pathological liar. And I didn't have any other problem with the guy. I just couldn't deal with it. I couldn't deal with the braggadocios, lying stories."
"If I knew how to do this kind of stuff, I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing. I wouldn't have time. Everybody who's being lied about in America would be paying me to fix it for them."
"You want to start talking about killing jobs? There's nobody in Barack Obama's league! Mitt Romney saves jobs. Mitt Romney and Bain Capital saved jobs."
"Bain Capital saved 150 companies from bankruptcy. And there were people that worked at these 150 companies. And they didn't go into bankruptcy. That means the jobs there were saved. But, yeah. You can't assume that everybody would support their wife when she had cancer. John Edwards didn't. Well, you tell me where I'm wrong. You tell me where I'm wrong."
"Nobody benefits from driving companies into bankruptcy except maybe unions and the Democrat Party. Certainly not Mitt Romney. Certainly not Bain Capital."
"The best piece of advice I ever got really came inadvertently and accidentally. A guy just said: 'You know what? Laugh at it. Just laugh. That will drive them crazy. Just laugh at it and make jokes about it.' So, for the most part, that works."
"So tonight the NFL preseason really kicks off -- they've got the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Philadelphia Eagles -- and I really don't care. I don't care to know if it's on TV, or whether I can watch it or not."  [Rush doesn't like the direction Liberals are taking no-hit football and will watch Olympics with his lovely wife, we believe.]

The Romney campaign has gone on the offensive against the outrageous smears that Barack Obama has mounted in recent days. This 30-second television ad is, I think nuclear; the only question is whether enough casual viewers know the background.
