From the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update: "Full of it"
The millions of Democrats who expect somebody else to pay for all of their health care, the environmentalist wackos wanting the government to save them from the weather by waging war on SUVs -- all victims.   ~~~   ~~~   ~~~

Learned from WSJ Online:
The deadly assault on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya on Sept. 11 was
preceded by a succession of security lapses and misjudgments that raise
questions about whether the scope of the tragedy could have been
contained.   [[ED: Beck notes Fast & Furious in Libya!]]
Pakistani police opened fire on rioters who were torching a cinema
during a protest against an anti-Islam film, killing one man. 23 min ago
Romney's path to victory is narrowing, a new WSJ/NBC/Marist poll suggests, presenting challenges for the nominee as he tries to rebound from a week of bad headlines.
In an uprising compared with Iraq's Sunni Awakening, residents of dozens of villages in Andar, a district of Afghanistan's volatile Ghazni province, have taken up arms against the Taliban and its harsh edicts.

Charles Krauthammer's weekly column reviews the collapse of the Obama administration's Middle East foreign policy. The collapse achieved expressive form this past Sunday in the person of Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, dispatched to each of the morning news shows to pronounce the Obama administration line of the moment on the murder of the American ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi. Peddling the party line, she promulgated »

It's come to this: ISLAMABAD (AP) — Marked by the U.S. Embassy seal, advertisements condemning an anti-Islam video appeared on Pakistani television on Thursday in an apparent attempt to undercut anger against the United States, where the film was produced. Hundreds of youths, however, clashed with security officials as they tried in vain to reach the embassy in Islamabad amid anger in many countries over the film's vulgar depiction of »

A judge in New York has ruled that the city's transportation authority cannot refuse to accept display ads in subway stations because they are "demeaning" to jihadists. The New York Post reports: A provocative ad that equates some Muslim radicals with savages is set to go up next week in the New York City subway system, just as violent protests in the Middle East over an anti-Islamic film ridiculing the »

On this day, September 20, 2012, the Washington Nationals clinched a spot in this year's baseball playoff. They accomplished this by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1. A Washington baseball team hasn't played in the post-season since 1933. That year, the Washington Senators represented the American League in the World Series, losing to the New York Giants 4 games to 1. What the Nationals clinched tonight was the right, at »

President Obama declared today that the most important lesson he's learned in office is that "you can't change Washington from the inside; you can only change it from the outside." Even Politico, a fairly reliable cheerleader for Obama, sees the potential political problem with this statement: The comment could seem like a striking reversal — or outright admission of failure — on one of Obama's fundamental promises in his first »

At more and more companies, the hiring boss is an algorithm, as jobs that were once filled on the basis of work history and interviews are left to personality tests and data analysis.

ED: Driving to SLC we listened to Sean Hannity interview NY Rep Peter King and Rudi Giuliani and then Glenn Beck. Here are some quick notes: The Muslim outreach seems to have failed around the world. [We are not loved, and we now are not respected for our superpower prior status.] Peter King, "Call your enemy for what it is."  It insults good Muslims to not use words that distinguish. "This is an area of the world where you have to be strong, and speak clearly to show you are strong. Otherwise, they will take advantage of you."
Glenn Beck radio show:  What we have going for us is truth and perspective.  Which makes you more comfortable, the Romney 47% comment or Obama on Letterman.  (1) Stop spending; (2) Stop printing.  "Bankruptcy concentrates the mind." This is not hard to understand—not hard to explain to voters. Don't talk to me about the polls; talk to me about the Truth that has to be spread.
